The town bad boy with hidden pain...

Champion bull-rider and all-around fun guy Chase Summers is everybody's friend, but his affable personality hides a lifetime of pain. Having been abandoned as a young child at the steps of a church, he learned young that he was unwanted. The only thing that saved him from isolation was his foster dad and life on Redemption Ranch. Now he spends his time on the rodeo circuit, sending home his winnings to help the ranch succeed, and his nights with buckle bunnies, making sure no one gets close enough to touch the pain deep inside.

The town good girl who saw the good in everyone...

When accountant and small business advisor Hailey Spencer is hired by Redemption Ranch to implement their dude ranch ideas, she and Chase are thrown together. It's not long before he is introduced to the son that she had with his best friend. The best friend who would've followed Chase anywhere...even the bull riding circuit with its deadly potential. With Hailey hanging on to resentment and Chase racked with guilt, the two try to fight their age-old attraction – in vain. Chase knows Hailey deserves more than a broken-down cowboy for her son and her heart.

Can Chase resist the call of the rodeo and man up for a woman he's loved for years or will he leave for the allure of the road?

A really emotional cowboy romance. Chase woke up in the hospital from a nasty bull riding accident wondering how long it was going to take him to recover so he could get back on the circuit. But his family was trying everything in their power to convince him he didn't need to go back. They just wanted him home... and safe. What he wasn't counting on was his soon to be sister-in-law to hire the one woman who made him want to settle down. Hailey just wanted a job that put her skills to use so she could support her young son. If that meant dealing with her late husbands best friend... well then she would do it. After all, they had been friends as kids too. I absolutely adored this book! It was so well written that it felt like I was part of the story. But I am honest enough to admit that it made me reach for more than one tissue. ❤️️ This is the second book in the Redemption Ranch series and it can be read as a standalone but each couple plays a large part in every story. ❣️ I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Injured by a bull, Chase has to take a break from the rodeo to recuperate, delaying his ability to earn enough money to help pay for ranch upgrades. Hailey's back home to help her parents with her mom's health problems, and let her young son come to know his grandparents. She's a CPA, but having trouble finding a good job, and a decent place to live. She finds both at Redemption Ranch when Tara hires her as the guest ranch manager, which includes room and board. She and Chase have a history - she, her now-deceased husband Adam, and Chase were best friends growing up. He feels guilty for being attracted to her, while she has suppressed her feelings for him. This was a beautiful and heartwarming story, and I loved every minute spent reading it. The characters just had amazing chemistry and amusing banter. The three brothers again prove that some of the best families are the ones you choose. I'm looking forward to Ty's story. What could be better than a sexy cowboy? Three sexy cowboys!!! The cowboys of Redemption Ranch are back! This is book 2 of the Redemption Ranch series and pertains to Chase, our rodeo star. Chase has gone back to the rodeo circuit to chase his dream of winning the national championship, but even more, to win the large purse to help the Ranch out of financial difficulties. He feels that wandering lust of wanting to see the world, also wants to save his family, but fate has different plans for him in the form of his deceased best friends wife Hailey. Past feelings reignite, along with a whole lot of guilt. Both struggle with their attraction to the other. Strong story line that does needs a bit of tightening, awesome characters - loved that we got to see West, Tara, Ty and Emma. Engaging dialogue and easy to visualize descriptions of details. Written as a 3rd person, multi pov with a HFN ending. Can not wait for Ty's story next! Would I recommend this book? Yes Would I read more from this author? Yes Sassy Beta Reading and Review I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Hailey and Chase were attracted to each other, but she’s his best friend’s widow and she has a young son to think about. Her father was a jerk at first putting her down and offering her a teller position at his bank when she has a CPA. I’m a CPA and work for a bank would have been insulted too. I love that used her business skills to partnered with Tara to help get her guest ranch up and running. Her son A.J. was precocious and a handful. Chase dealt with lot in foster care, so kept running the rodeo circuit afraid to put down roots. It’s scary how dangerous that sport is. There were plenty of sexy scenes in this cowboy romance.

Chase had a rough childhood he was moved around in the foster system so much that he doesn't believe in love and commitment that is until he ended up with two foster brothers who where taken in by a rancher and his daughter That is how he became part of Redemption Ranch Now he works as a bull rider sending money home to maintain the ranch but after a bull just about kills him he has come home to recuperate. There he reconnects with Hailey she was friends with him growing up her husband was his best friend but now she is a widow and trying to raise her son AJ the best she can and she is working at Redemption Ranch while caring for her ill mother. He is drawn to her but he still has that fear that no one can love him and that she will walk away from him Can she convince him she will be there for him and will AJ melt his heart

This is the 3rd book I've read written by Megan Ryder; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books. The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book. I loved the chemistry between the characters. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

The second book in the Redemption Ranch series, a well written story that held my interest throughout. Champion bull-rider Chase Summers and accountant and small business advisor Hailey Spencer's story. Both of them have things in their pasts to get over if they are to move forward together, I liked Hailey's son A.J.'s part in the story. I hope there is going to be another book in this series. Can a small child mend a heart? Goodie gumdrops we have one cocky hunk of cowboy in this entertaining offering by Megan Ryder. Chase a bull rider who is recovering from injuries now back on the ranch he shared ownership with Tara, Wes and Ty an old childhood friend and now widow Hailey is back in his life. This one is a roller coaster of emotions and show characters with such realistic feeling that you will find it hard to put the book down. I highly recommend this book. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Chase, Adam and Hailey had been friends for a long time. Adam and Hailey got married and Adam followed Chase into the rodeo business. They were both bull riders searching for the championship. Adam was thrown from a bull and died before Hailey had a chance to say goodbye to him. Adam had asked Chase to look out for Hailey if anything ever happened to him, and Chase agreed, thinking he would never have to but it was like Adam knew something was going to happen. Chase came home and stood beside Hailey at the funeral and was their for her when she needed him. But then he felt like he was guilty for Adam's death because if was bull riding Adam wouldn't have either. A really good book that makes you think how your life choices affect everyone around you. Very well written and will tug at your heart strings a little. Ok maybe a lot. I highly recommend this book. I really enjoyed it.

Coming Home to the Cowboy by Megan Ryder is book number two in the Redemption Ranch series. This is Chase Summers and Hailey Spencer's story. Hailey was married to Chase’s best friend who died in an accident four years ago. Chase has always felt an attraction to Hailey but he feels it would be disloyal to his best friend’s memory. I enjoyed the interactions between them. They need to let their guards down and take a chance on love and happiness. Hot bull-rider Champion, sweet romance, and intense chemistry what’s not to love! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Megan Ryan has written a 5-star book about 3 friends Hailey, Adam, and Chase. Chase and Adam are both bull riders, Adam is married to Hailey and they have a son, but Adam is never home due to being on the road with the Bull Riding circuit. One night Hailey gets a call to tell her that Adam had had an accident and he had died. Now Hailey has to raise her son on her own. She moves back home to help her mom out after her stroke. Now Hailey is looking for a job and finds one for the Redemption Ranch as a CPA. Chase is back home on the ranch recuperating from being thrown from a bull and getting hurt. Chase had always had a thing for Hailey but did nothing about it because of his bull riding. As they spend more time together their feelings grow stronger for each other. Hailey enters into a relationship with Chase even knowing he will go back to bull riding and be gone most of the time. Everything is going fine for them until Chase tells her he is going back to bull riding, she tells him she can't go through that again and broke things off with him. Will Chase realize that what he has been searching for, he has already found on the ranch or will he stay with the bull riders circuit? Can Hailey let Chase go and move forward to find her HEA or will she be alone? This book was a wonderful read and I would recommend this book to anyone. I am so glad Chase's story was next as I really wanted to know more about him and geeze he really does hold his emotions in so no wonder he is a bit of a tortured sole. Hailey is back in town after leaving years ago, she is now a widow and single mother to AJ needing work so she can get out from under her parents roof. Fate, serendipity, destiny what ever you want to call it but now Chase and Hailey are in the same place and it is time they face his best friend and her husband Adams death as well as how they feel about each other. This is definitely going to tug at the heart strings especially with the raw emotions that both Chase and Hailey go through, along with their insecurities and need you have for them to see they are worth loving and belong together.

This book is like the first in the series, I have to say I have really enjoyed reading about how family is what you make of it and that's what Chase, West, and Ty are doing with the help of Tara and now Hailey. I liked how once again the author took and strong hard headed women who will fight for she wants and will stop at nothing to protect her son. I however was not a fan of Chase in this book, I found him to come off as whinny a lot. He did eventually grow on me but to me he was more a grouchy old man feeling the the Hot smoking cowboy the author was trying to portray. There is a good about of curse words and sex in this book so it may not be suitable for all. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."

When I started the second book in the Redemption Ranch series I was wondering if it could beat the first book? I was pleasantly surprised that Chase, Hailey and young AJ story was even better. If you have not read the first book, A Cowboy's Salvation never fear you will be fine reading this as a stand alone. BUT might I suggest reading the first book in this series as well. It will not only help you understand the three brother's history as foster boys and how they came to live at the Ranch but also its a wonderful book. Now let me tell you a wee bit about Coming Home to the Cowboy. Chase is a bull rider who pushes thru it all so he can win the top money and help his family back at the Ranch. If you know the rodeo, you know riding bulls is the top purse and it is also the most dangerous too. Chase get hurt...badly and has to go home to Redemption Ranch. Meanwhile Hailey and her young son AJ move back to town to help with her sick mom. AJ or Adam JR is Adam was Chase's Best friend and rodeo buddy and Chase made a promise to his best friend before his death that well is kinda hard to keep. This a wonderful second chance romance that not just about love but about family. Family born of blood and those families made from heart bounds like our three brothers West, Chase and Ty. This book will pull at your heart and keep you reading it from cover to cover.

An angsty emotional story. I was hooked from the beginning, perched on the edge of my seat to see what would happen between these characters. With Coming Home to the Cowboy, Meagan Ryder is at her best, creating an intensely emotional ride you won’t want to get off!! A must read of 2019. Happy reading!!

Chase is a champion bull rider. He comes home to recover from a near fatal accident . His ex-girlfriend, Hailey, married his best friend and is now a widow with a son. When Chase and Hailey meet again they realize that the chemistry is still there. This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride but you will not be able to put it down. I really enjoyed reading this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the second book in this series and although I have not read the first book this can easily be read as a standalone. I am definitely going to be going back and read the first book. This second book was about Chase and Hailey. Chase is champion bull rider and he is back home on Redemption Ranch recovering from an accident he had. While home he runs into Hailey. Chase has feelings for her but she married his best friend. Now she is widowed with a son and she is back home too. I loved this book. The author did such a great job of writing an emotional story about love, friendship, and romance. Taking all the emotion and encompassing it into a story that makes you yearn for more. This book is so beautifully written and I am looking forward to going back and reading the first book. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

I love Redemption Ranch so much!!! I was so curious about Chase in the first book. Why is always on the road, why does he seem to avoid home, who is going to be the woman to make him put down roots? Everything about Chase's story made my heart ache and want to wrap him up in a hug. I can't think of a woman more perfect for him than Hailey. I wanted to wrap her up in all the hugs too. She's been through so much by the time she takes on the job at Redemption Ranch that I wanted to cry for her. I loved Chase and Hailey's story. Their friendship from their teen years and the growth they experience as they get to know each other again as adults was beautiful. I was rooting for them from the very beginning. I love this family and I can't wait to return to Redemption Ranch.

Coming Home to the Cowboy by Megan Ryder is the second book in the Redemption Ranch Series. Chase Summers was a great supporting character in the first book, so I was glad to see him receive his own story. Another foster child who found a home at Redemption Ranch he is now a bull rider. A successful champion one. However, he still has that young boy feeling of inadequacy that he hides from the world. It would take a ray of sunshine like Hailey Spencer and her son to help him to see himself differently. A romance and love story for sure but also one that reminds the reader of the need for acceptance and love that we all have. The fact that this was not a secret love child story was a huge plus for me. The characters were engaging and meant well even when they were just plain wrong for some of their misguided efforts. A wonderful series with Coming Home for the Cowboy being a wonderful addition. An ARC of the book was given to me by Tule Publishing which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Rating 4.5/5* Great second chance romance! What a great read this proved to be, I really enjoyed it with its great characters, plenty of drama and trauma as well as a heartwarming second chance romance. Redemption Ranch is where Chase Summers went to live as a teenager, after years of being passed around from one foster family to another. It was there he found stability and love, a purpose in his life which was encouraged and supported as well as a family, even if not by blood. He still struggles to let anyone near him, to love and to trust that he won't be rejected and sent away yet again. Now he and his foster brothers are trying to develop the ranch to keep it safe. Chase is contributing his winnings from being a champion bull-rider on the rodeo circuit. However, this is a danger packed existence, one that results in him being seriously injured and necessitating him taking time out to heal. He returns to the ranch to do so but certainly hadn't anticipated the new ranch accountant, Hailey Spencer, and her son, AJ, sharing his accommodation! What makes this worse for him is that she is his secret crush. He's loved her for years, even when his best friend married her but he also feels guilty and somewhat responsible for her husband's death. With so much history and attraction between them, could this be their chance to find love and happiness together or will the call of the rodeo prove too great for them? What a lovely story, packed with angst and turmoil as past experiences make this couple so wary of romance and the future. The author skilfully creates characters that it is so easy to empathise with and feel sympathy for. AJ is a delightful child and his growing attachment to Chase is so special but so is the journey that Chase and Hailey travel, complete with so many obstacles en route, that makes this a fantastic read that I have no hesitation in highly recommending to anyone who enjoys reading contemporary second chance romances. I requested and was gifted a copy of this book and this is my honest review after choosing to read it.

This was a sweet romance about a troubled bull-rider who feels as if his only worth is trying to win enough money to help his foster brothers maintain the ranch that they’ve inherited. Chase had a terrible childhood and it seriously scarred him. Now he’s back on the ranch recovering from a terrible injury and he has to deal with the woman he always wanted, but who had married his best friend. She’s now a widow raising her six-year old son. Chase feels unable to relate to a small child because of the abuse he suffered as a child. But he can’t help enjoying the small boy. It’s very sweet how he buys parenting books so he can learn better how to talk to a child. There is the inevitable romantic tension leading to sexy times then remorse and internal conflict. You know how it will inevitably end, but it’s still fun to enjoy the bumpy ride. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

A heart-warming addition to the Redemption Ranch series, Coming Home to the Cowboy by Megan Ryder. I enjoyed the first book in the series so much A Cowboy's Salvation I didn't think this one would be just as good but it was. I loved everything about this story and can't wait until I can get the next book in this series.

Hailey and Chase’s love story in Coming Home to the Cowboy by Megan Ryder, book two in her Redemption Ranch series, reminds us that families can be created by those not related by blood. Chase was a foster child with a troubled life, until he found a family while living on Redemption Ranch with his foster dad. Now he spends time on the rodeo circuit, sending home his winnings to help the ranch succeed. Chase is still a loner and keeps people, especially women, from getting too close. Hailey is an accountant and hired by Redemption Ranch to prepare and ready the ranch for all the changes being made. Hailey married Chase’s best friend but is now a widow with a young son. These two try to fight their attraction, but it is in vain as they sizzle with off the chart electricity. Hailey, along with his foster brothers, fear that if Chase returns to the rodeo circuit he could badly injure himself if not end up dead. Chase struggles to resist returning to the rodeo circuit as the prize is within his grasp. He also recognizes that Hailey deserves a better man but he’s not sure he can give her up. Chase will have to choose between the rodeo and the woman he loves. Ms. Ryder wrote a wonderful and sexy story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, amusing banter, and endearing characters giving Hailey and Chase a chance to have a forever love and be a family. I highly recommend Coming Home to the Cowboy to other readers and look forward to the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
