I love military romances, like Lexi Blake's Masters and Mercenaries Series, was hopeful that this Series would be similar...didn't quite make it, but still a fun read. The only that was really off was some of the things she had the supposedly best of the best SEALS team do, or not do that made it so not believable.

Read and make up your own mind. None of the books I've read about seals are probably that's called fiction for a reason. It's how you like the story that counts.

I enjoy most SEAL books, but not this one. The first third of the book is so full of inane chatter that I skimmed through most of it. About halfway through the story got a bit better, but over all it was so full of unbelievable ridiculousness like taking time to shave in hostel territory. Really?? I think any real SEAL would be embarrassed by the characters in this book.

We read these navy seal stories because navy seals are strong, exciting, brave, and good looking. This book has all of the required components including the beautiful woman who is adopted into the team dealt all of the poor selfish decisions that threaten to get everyone killed. I found Jenna & Mack to be pretty annoying and had to struggle to read this one.

A must read novel. Really good.

J: This is a very suspenseful and exciting story. BUT, there is just too much romance at illogically inappropriate times. It became rediculous and seemed to distract from the story line at times. This author needs to remember that sometimes " less is more."

Wow! This story had me on the edge of my seat. The authors knowledge of weapons and Seal termonology is outstanding. Jenna seems like she has to be in charge all the time and has a hard time letting go, but she is finally willing to let Mack do what he is trained to do and almost gets the team killed , Lots of action qnd suspense. I will definately get more of her books

Jenna works for a travel agency called eXtreme Adventures that puts together unusual vacations for wealthy people. While on one of these vacations, one of her clients and his family gets kidnapped in South America so Jenna calls Navy SEAL Mack Riley to rescue them. She didn't want to call him because he was her ex and he didn't want to agree to the mission because he was her ex. But they both tried to put the past behind them and find the clients. I had mixed feelings about the characters. The SEAL team men were great. I loved the way they worked so well together. They were so good at their individual specialties that it makes you truly realize the training and skill the SEALs have. Jenna was not so likable and it was hard for me to figure out what Mack ever saw in her. She was like a spoiled princess expecting to always get her own way. She was the Admiral's daughter, which we were told so often it was annoying, but that seemed to make her believe she was privileged and should get whatever she wanted, not get hurt or kidnapped. Just living in a dream world. Jenna's personality was irritating when she would not listen to Mack's rescue suggestions and, thinking she knew better, did things he told her not to do. This almost got them all killed. I liked this action-packed adventure. With sexy SEALs, who wouldn't? I recommend this suspenseful military romance.

Loved the suspense, I was chewing my nails the whole time. I can't believe how long it took Jenna to the Seals do what they were trained to do. All of the guys on the team are great, loved their diverse personalitys. Hope there are more stories about the team. mjw
