This is a full-on and detailed story with a basic concept given the Brandy Rivers twist into a fantastic and gripping tale. Jackie and Eddie have loved each other forever, but each of them thinks they can't have the other. Eddie has gone through a series of relationships, whilst Jackie is convinced she will never have one. This doesn't stop her from having sex mind you, but she is not a 'loose woman' either. The story starts with Jackie doing the walk of shame, as Eddie considers proposing to his girlfriend. Things change and danger stalks them at every turn. Will they be able to overcome the danger and be together, or will it drive them apart? Well-written and fast paced, this book had no editing or grammatical errors that I found. The writing was descriptive enough that each scene was completely visible, and yet not so overpowering that you become bogged down with detail. I will say that for some reason, and I really can't elaborate as I don't know why myself, I seem to prefer the Others of Edenton to those of Seattle. Still, this was thoroughly enjoyable and I loved every moment. Definitely recommended. * I received this book from HEA Book Tours in return for a fair and honest review. * Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!
