Echo is desperate to move on after the death of her husband but the secrets he left behind has her running for her life as she discovers there's someone who will go to any length to keep those secrets hidden.

It's happened again. Sweaty and breathless, Echo awakes from another horrid dream about losing her husband; only it's not a dream. Her husband is dead. Though he's been gone for over a year, the sting of losing him feels fresh. Echo still lives in the San Francisco condo they'd bought together with all of his things just as he'd left them, unwilling to let go.
Still struggling to mend the pieces of her torn life, she tries to move forward but just when she feels as though she's making progress something slams her back into the past, back to the moment she lost everything. While those memories continue to haunt her, Echo discovers they might also be the key to unlocking the secrets her husband left behind.
When a mysterious package shows up at her door, it becomes clear to Echo that someone, somewhere knows more than she does about what her husband had hidden from her. In a race to unveil the truth, she receives threats from someone determined to take more from her than she's already lost. Unsure of whom she can trust, Echo feels as if she's drowning in a sea of lies, until a beautiful stranger throws her a lifeline.
