Overview

The Commandments by Angeline Hawkes

An ancient curse...

A priceless artifact...

Evil dwells in God’s house...

It all seemed so perfect. Reverend Sutton Conway’s congregation pinched and saved in order to purchase an ancient slab of history: a 2,500-year-old stone tablet, a copy of the Ten Commandments. But the perfect slice of history came with an added mystery that soon takes root and begins to grow with horrifying results.

From an exotic goddess of India to a street smart hooker, from Mayan vases to steamy hot tub liaisons between sex-crazed neighbors, The Commandments compels the reader to turn just one more page in hopes of solving the accursed riddle.

***2006 Bram Stoker Award Nominee for Best Collection***
