About the Author
The author began working life as a marine engineer serving in the Merchant Navy, between voyages he worked as a professional mountaineering guide in the Alps. Two of the four hard-back books published have mountaineering and mountains as a subject. Diagramming has been taught to post-graduate students at Cranfield University, where he completed an engineering-related PhD, and to undergraduate students at the Open University. Lives in Histon Cambridge, married with daughter and son.
