What People are Saying About This
Wisconsin Bookwatch, July 2006
“A welcome and prized addition to any personal, school or community library … The Complete Horse is recommended as an intriguing descriptive history and profusely illustrated tribute to the role and value of the horse.”
“Does the sound of snorting make your soul soar? Does the beat of racing hooves make your heart race? Then the ‘Complete Horse’ is for you. My only complaint with this book was not with the content, but with the way it’s made. Many of the sidebars are printed on a plaid horse-blanket-type background, which sometimes made the words hard to read. Bring a magnifying glass if you think you’ll have problems; the info is too good to miss.”
Alaska Horse Journal, July 2006
The Aiken Horse (SC), February/March 2007
“The Complete Horse is a book for horse lovers. Each page offers something to catch the reader’s attention. Many of these little known facts could act as a starting point for investigation, while others could serve as discussion-starters. This is one of the most attractively-designed books to come along in quite a while. Kimball’s easy, chatty style adds to the appeal. A grand general interest book for any horse lover.”
