You’re no idiot, of course. You know life is a journey and that physical birth and death are its points of transition. Many people, across cultures and faiths, believe the spirit lives on—and have experienced contact with the spirits of loved ones who have passed to the higher side. This contact is joyous, comforting, and healing—but you wonder if it’s really real and whether you can share in it, too.
Don’t give up the spirit! The Complete Idiot’s Guide® to Communicating with Spirits will show you exactly how to uncover your own mediumistic capabilities and connect with those no longer on the earth plane. In this Complete Idiot’s Guide®, you get:
--Tips on how to connect with your personal divine energy through prayer, meditation, and dreams.
--Information on the birth of the human soul—as perceived through theological, metaphysical, and spiritual viewpoints.
--Exercises to help you develop your mediumistic abilities.
--Tangible evidence of the continuity of life as presented through the experiences and spirit drawings of medium Rita S. Berkowitz.

I guess these idiot guides cover everything! This is a great book ¿ just beware of the lack of cautions against spirits who are not 100% pure light ¿ not all of them are! For example, do you know some spirits lie? Check out the second book by the `Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting¿ author, or the `spirits¿ section in Rich¿s `Energetic Anatomy¿, or `A Separate Reality¿ by Carlos Castaneda for more on this. This is one of many books currently on the market that prove not only that loved ones who cross over to the 'other side' or 'spirit guides' are with us even if we don't see them and that there are ways to contact them if we desire to. It proves too that life does not necessarily end when we die. Throughout the book, there are stories of spirit contact and also various meditation exercises that the reader can try on their own. Among the topics this book explores are the spirit world itself, spirit guides, 'earthbound spirits,' spirit messages and what they may mean, how to activate and refine your own 'psychic senses,' spirit energy, and even some idea of what you will encounter if you have a reading with a 'medium' done for yourself. The more I read about the spirit world and psychic phenomena, the more I realize how energy is attuned to all of it. The book talks of the 'energy' an old object at an antique store has from its various owners for example and how touching it may cause the person touching it to get a glimpse of the previous owner's life and surroundings. I'm glad a book like this is now available, it's answered a lot of my questions about the spirit realm. If you like me are exploring your own psychic abilities, or wish to find ways to contact the 'spirit world,' this book offers some excellent information.
