This book has been around for a while. My first copy was in paperback. I am a teacher. I give copies of this to students all the time. I like the hardcover version because its a gift. I refer to this book on a personal basis all the time. It is full of reminders for living a better life. The story of how it was written is especially touching, having had to drop off my two kids at college. Every student that I have ever given this to, has always thanked me because the book made an impact on them.

I received the original as a graduation gift 15 years ago. I love it still. It's a great thing to thumb thru and it reminds you of the good feelings and karma you get from living a good life and doing things right. In the rush of life and our daily stresses it's easy to forget the basics sometimes. This is an inspirational and gentle reminder of how to do things right, well, and think outside yourself.

I know opportunities evade us when we close the doors of the heart. Mr. Brown's book ranks up there with the annual must read list such as Dale Carnegie's "How to win friends" advice in Chapter One which says we should always avoid criticizing, condemning or complaining. Life is a little brighter and its load is lighter after reading Mr. Brown's suggestions. Be prepared for a wonderful mentoring session!!

This leather-bound little book contains Life's Little Instruction Book Volumes I, II and III. This series contains suggestions, observations and reminders on how to live a happy and fulfilling life. Many are fairly mundane, but some are quite good.
