About the Author

Prior to founding mbaMission, Jeremy was the sole speechwriter for the Ambassador of Israel to the United States, for whom he wrote more than 70 policy addresses. As his speeches were being published in the Washington Post, Washington Times and other major international media outlets, Jeremy was also laying the foundation for mbaMission, helping a small number of applicants gain acceptance to top-tier MBA programs each year.

Jeremy was admitted to several top domestic and international MBA programs himself and ultimately became one of the youngest members of his class at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, where he was an admissions interviewer, wrote a Business Ethics case and was chosen by his peers to be Class Graduation Speaker.

After graduation, Jeremy formally established mbaMission and has subsequently provided admissions consulting services to applicants from the United States and more than 30 other countries on six continents.

Jeremy is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Association of International Graduate Admissions Consultants (AIGAC), an organization committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical practices in MBA advisory services, and was Co-Chair of the 2009 AIGAC Conference at Columbia Business School.

I received this book being the lucky winner of an Early Reviewer batch. While I don't plan to apply for a MBA, I still found this book very useful and very practical should I want to apply some day.It was useful in the sense that the parts related to essay writing can easily apply to business writing and how to write blog posts or executive presentations in an effective manner.

While I am still in limbo of what I want to study in school. I found this book very helpful for someone who wants an MBA. There were helpful tabs with long term planning, essay writing, and even resume tips!!! The book even helps you with interviews which I think i speak for everyone when I say that interviews are no fun at all! Overall a highly reccommended book for anyone interested in MBA. The title does speak for itself when it says complete start to finish because the book does help you with everything along the way!

I was very pleasantly surprised by how well written, well thought out, and well organized this book was. As someone only tentatively considering an MBA at the moment, I read this book with an eye towards coming back to it in a few years. And after getting through it, I'm definitely going to keep it around in case I do. The book flows very logically from one part of the process to another, and spends enough time on each subject without seeming to drag. It covers the MBA application from start to finish, including how to deal with Waitlists. The sections on Resumes and Essays is particularly good, providing thorough explanation and detail. The fact that the book is suitable for people thinking of going into MBA programs as well as those who have already started into other careers is a big perk. This book will stay on my bookshelf and likely be loaned out to friends considering going back to school. A definite "good buy!"
