Steve is a 4th Dan black belt in Aikido, and has been a tai chi practitioner for many years. By practising these two martial arts for so long, Steve says he has developed his physical discipline and meditative skills. He is also a keen hobby musician.

Robin Bower is an Australian author and editor with more than 20 years in publishing. After editing educational books in Melbourne, she was managing editor/publisher of a magazine in Hong Kong, where she reported on the diamond and jewellery industry for Asia and Europe. Robin taught Writing, Editing and Publishing at Curtin University, Perth. She has had around 50 articles published in publications based in Hong Kong, Perth and Melbourne, and was awarded her Master of Creative Writing from the University of Canberra.
