I've always loved books and reading. I can't remember when I didn't have a library card--libraries are just the most amazing places and librarians, being the most knowledgeable generous people I've had the privilege of meeting, deserve an exalted place in society.
As the Avid Reader Book Reviews Blogger my book reviews and blog are widely read and followed by literary enthusiasts. I have also been invited to post guest blog posts for others, most lately by bestselling author CJ Lyons.
The Avid Reader Book Reviews (AKA Avid Book Reviews) blog posts not only book reviews but also author interviews & readings (usually by video), information on libraries and literacy, book trailers, videos pertaining to anything related to books, and sponsored book giveaways. I am a multi-genre kind of gal but my favorites are mystery/suspense/thrillers, historical fiction, young adult… but my list favorites just keep growing.
I am also author of Confessions & Secrets of the Avid Book Reviews Blogger serial which offer invaluable book marketing and promotional tips, available resources, how-to information and more.
My newest launch entails book doctor services and I hope to eventually expand into more detailed coaching services.

I view literacy as vital to life's adventures. Reading can give such amazing views, insights, enjoyment and even diversion. Some of my favorite genres for pleasure are historical fiction, legal thrillers, suspense and mysteries books.
My life has been filled with different kinds of books though to match whatever was happening at the time...young motherhood, teaching aide, administrative assistant, student, researcher, legal assistant, realtor, writer...
