About the Author

A native New Yorker, USA TODAY Bestselling author Chris Keniston was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy-degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August! Twenty years later, she started scribbling short stories about her favorite TV shows, giving them lives more to her liking—and the elusive happy ending. Not long after, a dear friend dragged her to a local writers’ meeting. After winning multiple writing contests and finaling in the Romance Writers of America’s prestigious Golden Heart contest, she now spends her days, and nights, writing contemporary romantic fiction with lots of emotion, plenty of surprises, and, of course, the happily ever after. Author of more than a dozen contemporary novels, including the award winning Aloha Series, Chris Keniston lives in North Texas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.

Absolutely loved Connor and Caroline. This book was terrific. The only little issue was that I didn't really get her switch from fury to love. I wish there had been more of an explanation.

Another wonderful read! Like the first 2 books in the Farraday series this one is very engaging. You will be hooked right from the start. Conner thinks he has his life planned out, until Catherine comes home For her grandfathers funeral and unsure if she is going to sell the ranch. The same ranch Conner was going to buy. The connection between Conner and Stacey, Catherine's daughter is very touching! After you read about Adam and Brooks be sure to pick up Conner's story!

Three for three! Connor is a beautiful novel that reinforces my love of the contemporary cowboy tales. An oil field roughneck and a wild horse wrangler, Connor is the epitome of the strength, gentleness and true heart of the cowboy. His love of the tough and dangerous oilfield can not compete with his dream of creating a ranch to train wild horses to become outstanding quarter horses. BUT that dream may be waylaid when the neighbor who agreed to sell his ranch and finance it dies before the deal can be complete. When the granddaughter and great granddaughter show up, Connor falls for both of them right off the bat. His interaction with the little girl who has a form of PTSD will melt the heart of anyone who reads the book, but some of his decisions may alienate the beauty who has final say on the ranch. I requested an advanced reader copy of this book and have voluntary reviewed it. I love it!

Love is a fascinating emotion. How can such a powerful feeling break hearts, mend fences, blend families and cause so many other complications, but prove to be the most sought after feeling in the world? Perhaps, the key to understanding this haunting occurrence is bigger than what we see and factored into what we feel. Connor is currently my favorite story in the Farraday County series. In a world full of so much anger and violence, it's nice to escape into a beautiful canvas of kindness and peace. Catherine and Connor's romance proves that an open mind and an open heart can overcome obstacles that seem insurmountable. Hope and love are two feelings a person can never have enough of. That's the unforgettable message Ms. Keniston delivers in Connor.

For years, Connor had been working and saving to buy Ralph's land. When he is finally ready, is it too late? Ralph has passed on, and his granddaughter, Catherine, inherited the land. She goes there with her daughter, Stacy. As they all get to know each other, Connor finds himself drawn to both of them, but especially Stacy. He feels he can help her. Can he and will Catherine approve? Can they find more than a shared interest in the land? This was a great story, and kept me hooked. I won't lie, I had to grab a kleenex or two! Absolutely loved it!

She chuckled and nodded, making her legs comfy on his lap. "That's good to know, love." Lily said softly, giggling at Gabe's nomming :3
