About the Author
Ken Poyner has published more than 100 stories and 600 poems in more than 100 journals and magazines, both print and web based. His books include "Cordwood" (poetry), 22 Press, 1985; "Sciences, Social" (poetry), Palanquin Books, 1995; and "Constant Animals" (short fictions), e-book and paperback, 2013. He has taught creative writing on a National Endowment for the Arts community outreach teaching fellowship; and given readings, or taught seminars, at Bucknel University, George Washington University and the Bethesda Writers' Center. He has been nominated for three Pushcart prizes, and for the Rhysling and Dwarf Stars awards. His work appears in a number of contemporary anthologies.
