Newer contraceptive methods and new techniques for old methods (such as hysteroscopic sterilization) are attractive to patients, and their contraceptive provider (or referring provider) should have a grasp of the wide range of options. The purpose of this course is to provide healthcare professionals with the information necessary to advise patients and prescribe effective and appropriate contraceptives. 8. Describe different methods of providing emergency contraception.
