Prolouge:
Friday 3:00 pm; The polish made the stock car glow orange. The No. 3 gleamed on the sides and roof. All that was missing was a driver. The track waited 20 miles down the road. My name is Jay. I drive for BluJay Racing. I bet you can guess my nickname, it's BluJay. I got it from the fact that almost everything is blue. Blue skittles, blue M&Ms, blue cheese, you get the point. Life at the track is a boy's dream. Fast cars, the smell of exaust, big wrecks, it can't get any better! It can also be terrible. If you're the only 16 year old like me, you're called unexperienced, lucky, undeserving, and my least favorite, 'Shorty'.
I finish up changing the tires and my dad is waiting at the hauler. "Are you sure you should do this?" He asks. "Dad, racing is my life! Why would I quit now?" "Just asking. The boys also wanna win." "Dad. I know." With that we got into hauler and drove to the track.
Hey everyone. This is a story that everyone will like, racing fan or not. Leave a comment and advertise!!!!!! I can't post on 'erin hunter' where all the ads are. 3 comments to move on!!! &dagger CorvetteMan &dagger
