2.5 Stars I'm a fan of The Skulls and Chaos Bleeds series, while not every book or character is great in those series, the way they intertwine is very interesting, the action and drama that unfolds throughout both series makes for a captivating read. Plus what more can I ask for when rough, alpha, sexy bikers enjoy and love big, curvy women? I really wanted to enjoy this book as much as I enjoy reading about Tiny and Devil's clubs, especially since The Skulls and Ned were both mentioned in this new series, so I guess at some point we may see an appearance or two. The thing is that while the sexual chemistry between Duke and Holly was hot, in the usual Sam Crescent way, I was expecting more. First I wasn't too thrilled at the fact that Duke was thirty nine and Holly was only twenty one, that much of an age difference is just creepy to me, plus he had a fourteen year old son, Holly could have been his older sister, not his stepmother, but despite Holly being so young, she didn't act like a naive, spoiled brat. She was mature and acted in a respectful way. She wasn't, loud, rude nor obnoxious so that was a plus. She was in fact a bit boring. The fact that Duke pounced on her the moment she turned twenty one, is a bit disturbing..it just makes me think he was looking and attracted to her when she was a minor and that's a just a big NO in my book! I hate that nothing really happened in this book, we were built up by the Julie and Dawg scenario but had to wait until the last few pages to see it play out, I hate when that happens. Sighs...I'm with everyone else, Pike and Mary's story seems much more interesting and I hope it is, I'm looking forward to it... SR
