It is practical. I learned a lot and have had real world success by using the techniques in this book.
This is a good reference. I think that nothing beats a real teacher, but this is a good reference that I am glad to have in my arsenal.
Appears to have been written as an introduction for individuals with no previous exposure to the content. Book was written from material received from courses/books readily available without disclosing references.
I have read a lot of books on this subject and a lot of them are full of convoluted ideas, theories, and strategies that just don't work. This book is a big exception. It is very easy to follow and comprehend, the ideas are sound, and the simple strategies actually work. I am very pleased.
This "book" is awful! No sources, poor examples, typos abound and the writing is sophomoric and immature at best. Seriously, avoid this title and either look at other sources or find someone with credibility and experience to teach you.
