Our past experiences (the good, bad and ugly) may have made us the way we are, but it does not necessary have to define us the rest of our lives! This book was amazing! I have been going througlot of feelings of worthlessness after heartbreaking relationships throughout my life. I feel as though the author was able to give those of us who for whatever reason have not found our true voice “an honest freedom of expression”. This book....NO the author of this book has really been a help to me. I thank God for this woman. She is a true inspiration. The author’s poetic insight within the book provides a peek into her life from the perspective of a person that has lived through difficult obstacles and relationships and has found a way to overcome. Mrs. Hook’s book is not only a book about self forgiveness, but gives anyone who feels bound by their anger, guilt, hurt or pain a creative insight on how you should deal with friends, family and yourself and helps enable the reader to learn ways to keep these relationships strong when things go wrong. I would recommend this book to Teenagers, Young Adults and anyone with a desire to learn more constructive ways to have those “Conversations Between Me and I.” We can all benefit from it.
