I think anyone, of any profession, could harness the principles set forth in this collection of essays and use them to become better entrepreneurs, marketers, negotiators, partners, and even friends. The author certainly did his research, and his writing is thorough, easy to understand, and engaging. I particularly liked how the author included a section on social media, which is the golden ticket in any field of communication these days. Almost anyone can benefit from learning to be a better communicator, and this book's guidance on the subject is backed by solid research and empirical data. Highly recommended!

This was a very well thought out and researched book on advertising and branding in an ever changing and evolving society. The presentation of different views on how the communication field is transforming, and how to adapt to those changes are very interesting and unique. I really enjoyed reading the findings of the research study in chapter 6. The application of the previously discussed themes (chapters 1-5) were tied together very well through the study’s findings. An additional aspect I really enjoyed about this book was the research was done in a scientific manner, not just Google search regurgitation. After reading this book I plan on following the series by Weinholtz, as it is the most scientific writing on the topics of advertising/branding/communication I have found.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in knowing more about communication.  It was well-written and easy to read, and flowed from one idea to the next without jumping all over the place.  Weinholtz also broke down each subject enough to make sure the reader fully understood the content, without edging on boring or tedious.  Not only was the author’s writing style wonderful, his knowledge of the subject matter was apparent throughout.  He did not present various ideas and leave it at that; he began each section with a little bit of history that helped convey the message and make his point clear, while also making it much more interesting.  Also, he applied the ideas to many areas of life, and made connections from advertising and public relations today to that of the past.  As I said, this was a very interesting and entertaining book for me, and I would highly recommend it to those interested in similar subject matter.

Liked this book, How to do branding and act with public relations - it disclosed those facts. The writing is excellent and is's deep. So well-researched by the author. How to deal with a marketer's message, it taught me. Also helped me to explore various case studies which seem essential. The topics are insightful and useful in the communication sector. I will surely recommend this book.

If you want to know more about advertising, marketing, branding and communications this is the book to read. It's very thorough and the information is presented in an organized and professional manner. It's clear the author is an expert in the field of communications because the information is well-researched. Obviously we are all affected by communications---this book delves into the relevance of business and personal communication in today's times. I learned quite a few new things, especially in the last chapter where the author talks about social media, which is what I'm most interested about. Overall, great information---I highly recommend this book.

Well-Reasoned and Thought-Provoking ''Conversations In Communication'' is the type of book that broadens your mind, causes you to examine your thoughts on communications and leaves a lasting impression on your after it's over. Philip T Weinholtz presents five essays and a research study in the topic of communications that delve into the mysteries of modern business and interpersonal communications, positing on the ways it influences our lives and the way it can be improved in the business model. The essays are well-reasoned, thought-provoking, thoughtful and engaging. What I liked about this collection is that they don't claim to have all the answers or even a new way of creating communications, instead the author simply wants to open dialogue and consider how we are all effected by communications (from corporate communication to community communication) and how that can be improved to improve the communications industry. This was intellectually challenging and exceptionally argued, a book that certainly could be well recommended.
