At 62 yrs of age and 100 lbs over weight, I had pretty much given up hope of ever getting in shape. I found this book and on a lark bought it.  I have followed his progressive workout routines for 10 weeks now and am blown away by the results. The book focuses on legs (sqauats), chest (pushups), back (pullups), back (bridging), and gut work. Each of those areas has responded visibly. My legs are showing muscle. My arms are getting firm. My chest is filling out. It is amazing. And it only takes maybe 10 minutes in the morning, followed by 15 minutes of stretching. Oh, and my weight: I am losing between 1 and 2 lbs reliably every week of fat weight, and I have put on 4 lbs of muscle weight for a total weight loss of 22 lbs. I fully recommend this book.

This is a very compelling read; you'll fly through it and be motivated to begin. This program requires patience, but when you come out the other end, you'll be a stud! Anyone can do this; it's a progressive method of bodyweight excercises that you already know. I started it three weeks ago, and the results were immediate and startling. Get this book!

I was told about this book of how it could point me in the way of getting stronger...and I was very impressed with what it said it caught my attention from beggining to end. I try to use thses philosiphies on my workouts. I feel someone who is looking for a challenge would do well with this book, and its sequel.

Not just recommendations, but a true "system" of progressive bodyweight training if you don't possess weighted bars. Even if you do have weighted bars you may give them a miss after reading this. A true stand-out in the field.
