Each book had its own crime to solve. Each with its own clues, suspects and excitement. The recipes are great also. Sally's family is really unique.
Tastes Like Murder is really a fun read. I love the characters. The plot has just enough twists to keep you guessing until the end. Divine cookies with recipes! I love this series. Sally's family would drive a sane person nuts! Love them all - especially Grandma Rosa! In Baked to Death I guessed the murderer early, but still had to wait to see how all the characters played out their stories. The Cookies & Chance mysteries just keep getting better! I love the quirky characters. The mysteries are always convoluted and well planned.

It’s a cozy!). In true ‘cozy’ fashion, we are even treated to several of the actual recipes for Sally’s Samples (the signature fortune cookies, award winning Josie’s Jelly Cookies, and Sally’s Shortbread) and the Muccio family’s favorites (Grandma Rosa’s Braciole and Cheesecake).
