With this recipe book, I hope that each reader is able to experience the joys and the benefits that are offered with each and every dish that I have chosen to share. These easy to make recipes will provide your household with healthy, alternative meat dishes, meal replacement smoothies, vegan dairy substitutes and a diverse selection of other meals, desserts and drinks that will explode with flavor in taste.
With this first recipe book of mine, I hope that it brings you as much joy in making these dishes than I have received sharing them with you!

About the Author
Growing up holistically, however, definitely had its challenges for me. From family who didn't understand or respect our new way of life, to people who thought we had just plain lost our minds, we were constantly ridiculed and teased about our lifestyle which has proven over the years to add benefit on top of benefit. What was so deep was that everything we ate was homemade; our alternative meats, breads, jellies, and peanut butter were made before our eyes in my mother's kitchen. We rarely purchased or ate store brought foods.
Not only did I grow up eating and living a holistic lifestyle, but I was taught that to truly stay healthy it takes more than just eating well. I've learned that it also has to do with taking care of our mind, body/temple, and spirit. So as crazy as it seemed growing up, we didn't grow up with a T.V in our home and to this very day, I still don't have one.
For me, living holistically has become my first nature. So for me to make tinctures, eat dinner for breakfast, weekly fasting's, and reading for entertainment was the norm in my household. So as the years have passed and I started making a family of my own, I knew that the upbringing I was forced to live as a child was the only way that I come to would raise my own children, and it is incredible to see the reward of doing so!
So all of the life-long lessons that I've learned from my mother, I've updated, spiced up and added to with the same love that my mother had when she exposed us to living holistically. This is the reason why I've decided to put together some of my favorite recipes in my own very first cookbook. Each and every one of these recipes have been tried and true to holism. I too am sharing them with and in love. So I pray that the recipes in this book bring you as much joy as it has my family for four generations.
