This book has lots of serious police stuff interspersed with lots of guffaws. I liked it.

A mix of humor and serious events make this book about police work very interesting.

The writer deserves praise because he did a good job in telling his stories, personal experiences and cases that he worked on in his police career that started in 1968 and ended in 2011. I thoroughly enjoyed the book from start to finish.

I found myself smiling, if not chuckling a lot of the time as I read this book. Interesting memoir that tells of a large variety of cases and stories.

A well written memoir of the author's time in the RCMP. The personal stories have the ring of truth to them and most are funny; although there are sad incidents too. Enlightening and interesting. I enjoyed the book. Don A.
