This is the best book I have ever purchased. The book tells everything from arts and crafts and gardening to animals and cooking. The book is very economical, it is everything you could ever learn from your granparents and their grandparents written in a book. Even the most country people I know have learned from the book. I love the book so much I am purchasing one for my parents.

This book has everything you want to know in the state of the economy today. From food to how to make items are in here. This is a must have when prices get too high for us to purchase them. I recommend it for everyone in every home in America.

This is one of the best homesteading books I have purchased! I absolutely love it and you definitely get your money's worth as it's PACKED full of information! I highly recommend this book. I purchased this book for my husband for Christmas, and some friends perused through it when they were visiting over the holidays, now they are purchasing a copy for themselves!

Truly a wealth of information! Preserving food in a variety of ways, gardening, various purposes for herbs, crafts, gifts kids can make, far to many subjects to mention. We actually keep it near the dinner table, and pick a subject for discussion during the meal. My husband and I both grew up in homestead environments. This is an excellent way to help our 7 year old understand that lifestyle, and gives us a ton of fun learning projects to try. It's a great addition to our online home schooling curriculum as well as motivating us as a family to regain that self-sufficient mindset. Every household can benefit from this book, no matter where they live.
