Overview

Covenant by Maria Rachel Hooley

Lev Walker has fulfilled his purpose in Elizabeth Moon's life, but it has come at a considerable price. The bullet meant for Elizabeth has shattered Lev's mortality and the forced separation from Elizabeth has scarred his spirit, so much so that Evan Walker has purged Elizabeth's memory in order for Lev to start over. Yet love is eternal. What began with a saving Elizabeth's life continues in healing Lev's spirit as he is forced to remember what he has lost at the risk of everything.

This book wasnt really my favorite. It is through the eyes of Lev, but i feel like the Lev from the first book is so far gone that the Lev in this book just made me mad. I do think this book is necassary to read to understand the third book, but i wish the author didbt make it so hard to finish. There are some heart felt moments in this book. Though t one point i found myself rooting for Griffin...or should i say Grizzie...or would it be Liffin? What ever you know what i mean. I do recommend reading this book if you want to continue reading the series, but if i culd rewind the clock i would try to borrow it feom someone instead of buying it. The third book is so much better tho. So its worth reading this book so u can understand all the awesome things tha happen in the third. -DinoDesi
