I really enjoy this series of medieval mysteries. I like the characters and the stories. In this one, Prioress Ekeanor and Brother Thomas are on pigrimage, and encounter murder, corruption and an assassination plot. Looking forward to more in this series.

I believe that Priscilla Royal's novels are both extremely entertaining and educational. They have opened my mind to a world little explored these days. The pace of the novel is perfect. The character development is rich and believable. It is refreshing to find an author who can write murder mysteries, and at the same time shows us the nobility of the human spirit.
