We go in with one possible crime to solve, and wind up knee deep in trouble as a serial killer is uncovered and sets his sights on the heroine. An interesting group of characters who made for a compelling story. A couple of aspects weren’t quite believable, but overall I enjoyed the book and dove in to try to solve the crimes! When a look-a-like to his dead girlfriend washes up on his private beach, Mayor Cameron Delaney is thrown for a bit of a loop. He can’t believe what he’s seeing, and initially helps her in order to have that face close to him again.
