About the Author

Born in Titusville, Florida in 1969, he was kicked out of the state within two weeks of birth. Decided Oregon was the promised land so he took off to the Pacific.

By his fourth birthday, he was repatriated to the East Coast...specifically Maryland. There he learned to swim, learned how to eat crab and learned how to be the "back-up catcher to the back-up catcher". Lost his tonsils in Baltimore, which caused him to eat more and so his family had to move to Alabama.

After the ideal boyhood of church, baseball, swimming and general mayhem, Texas beckoned so the family loaded up the Cordoba and headed west. There he eventually graduated, attended Texas Tech, graduated from Baylor Law School, met his wife and started his law practice.

But life was not busy enough, so he and his wife decided to have five kids...not all at once.
