Loved Kira & Dallas! Great, hot quick read! If you're a fan of hot cowboys you really should give Randi's work a try! Can't wait to see what happens next in the Cowboy Jackpot series!
Randi Alexander is master of the “awww” moment in her latest release COWBOY JACKPOT: VALENTINE’S DAY. We first met Kira and Dallas in COWBOY JACKPOT: CHRISTMAS which was Boone and Giselle’s story. This one is even better! All the friends reunite for a weekend in Vegas over Valentine’s Day for the respective bachelor and bachelorette parties of Boone and Giselle. Dallas and Kira left on the wrong foot at Christmas, so when Kira moves all of Dallas’ chips to double zero on the roulette table while he is distracted, she is expecting him to lose, figuring the chips are worth a $1 a piece. By time Dallas refocuses, he finds his thousands camped out on that one space. He has little time to react before he suddenly wins, but the casino has its rules, and they say it’s Kira’s win. This is just the beginning for Dallas as he tries to overcome legitimate trust issues that Kira does little to help with. But she is not as cold hearted as she appears, and her body is smoking hot as far as Dallas is concerned. Between the bouts of hot sensual sex, Dallas and Kira learn more about each other, but just as it looks like there could be something wonderful for them both, Kira gets a message from her cousin about Dallas and suddenly she is the one with trust issues. I fell in love with both these characters and I have to say that Dallas is truly a sweetheart, even if he doesn’t realize it. I highly recommend this book. It’s got warmth, hot sex scenes, and great characters. Then again, Ms. Alexander has always been great with her characters. I expected nothing less. The only drawback is now I have to wait for the next book in the series. There just has to be a next one because after all, there are so many more holidays for these cowboys to conquer, don’t you think?
