Loved Dallas and Gillian in book 2 of this series. 686 pages of sexual tension between two people that have been hurt before makes for another sexy read. Now on to Austin's story in book 3!

A short, but good series. This family has some hot, possessive, protective males. Oh, can't forget the damsels in distress.

This was a great contrast to book1, but great addition to this series. Dallas' gruff personality, loss of control of part of his land & being burned by his ex all add up to a touch man. Gillian has a job to do whether he likes it or not. His rudeness to her, at first, was understandable. His treatment of Jessie is what was just plain callous. If Gillian can get by domestic abuse & trust him, Dallas should get by the mistrust he has toward women. The big love scene wad pretty steamy. I'm really happy that Dallas was the one to finally see the error of his ways, he had bocome his own worse enemy. Gillian forgave just a little to quickly, should have let him squirm a little more. Make him say what he really came to say, before jumpin' his bones! Hope Austin isn't as dtbbotn in book 3.
