This book consists of about 50 pages of actual code-cracking hints and tips, then the rest of the book is all puzzles and solutions. The background story of the American Revolution was somewhat interesting, but nothing to get worked up about. I expected more from a "For Dummies" book besides a book of puzzles. Granted, it was good to use the puzzles for practice, but it needed to get more in-depth with code-cracking tips and more of a how-to approach.
