This book helps you get past all the junk straight to the SAT. It is full of strategies and tools, and it is easy to understand. By far the best SAT prep book I have seen.

I do NOT recommend this SAT book. The quality is beyond poor-- my book was missing 50 pages from the beginning. Nothing was torn out of the book; rather, the pages were never included in the binding. The CD-ROM is also an absolute disaster. The results to my first practice test were lost, by that, I mean that because I did not have a username at princetonreview.com, my results were not saved correctly and I will never know what they were. I have seen many SAT books that are superior to this one, and I would not recommend wasting your money on such questionable material.

Anyone taking the new SAT should definitely buy this book. I improved my scores over 200 POINTS!! It's great. You really have to work through it though. Don't buy it if you're not prepared to work your butt off.

This book is awesome! It has three complete SATs and thorough explanations for every question...the math sections give alternate ways to do questions, making even the hardest questions easy, unlike Kaplan's books, which tell you to 'plug in numbers' all the time...The critical reading sections are really good, because the level of the passages in them is greater than/equal to the level of the passages on the real SAT, which prepares you for the test :-)...the writing sections cover all of the different types of grammar errors...All in all, this is a great book!
