This seriously exceeded all of my expectations, and now I can't wait to buy the next book- to see just how far the rabbit hole goes. First off, it's extremely well written, descriptive, and fully emersive. So while I was reveling in the strangeness of it all, there was a part of me that was getting irritated by the main characters choices. But I couldn't stop reading it! It was compelling in every way a story can be, and then as it drew towards it's explosive conclusion- everything came together in a way that I never saw coming. I appreciate dark, well written, interesting books, and I am so excited about seeing what comes next! If you enjoy all of the above and hate the boring predictably you typically come across- read this. You will not be disappointed!

I was so surprised at the ending! So many surprises I had to finish reading in one go.

NOT A ROMANCE! This is a dark psychological horror novel. Both main characters have deep psychological issues and I was horrified by this ending.

Well written but I did not like the ending at all. It was awful, sick, mentally ill.

I oddly liked this one. It is definitely darker than your normal love story and like a majority of the other reviewers I found myself going back and forth with what was happening. It was such a weird feeling trying to put myself in Laney's shoes and think about what I would do and how I would feel in these situations. There are 2 more books in this series and I'm definitely considering continuing the story.

There must be a genre for this but it is definitely not my cup of tea. I could not understand the minds of these characters. It was too wordy about nothing for me to understand what the characters were going through. You know there is a back story but cannot pick it out. I skipped lots, LOTS of words to get through the story. I don't even care to read the remaining installments to know how it ends. I think it could have potential but not the way it was written. I didn't like that characters at all and I really didn't understand the girl at all. This is a very DARK psychological thriller. You only read the girl's point of view in the story so you never really figure out what is going through his head. There are pieces of the story that are not complete and so hard to follow. Would not read this author again.

Unless you like twisted domination, leave this book on the shelf. Not a HEA. When I started this book, I thought it would eventually get better, but the male alpha led the female on a downward descent. The ending was a big surprise, to put it mildly. I should have seen the type book it was from the first unbelievable twist...her acceptance and desires seemed far too sudden. Much of the book was made of explicit sex scenes...too much too soon to be believable.

I was not expecting so many twists and turns. I found myself cringing at Laneys lack of self. This book was written on a dare to write with no rules, Laney and her stranger definitely have no rules. The story is unusual but worth the read.

It was creepy and had my feelings going back and forth. At the same time it drew me in from the beginning. Good read.

Drew Jordan writes a very dark and very sexy book. I wanted Laney to escape the stranger but as time went on I was glad she didn't. I want to know more about the stranger so I can't wait to read the next book.

"Crash" is written by Drew Jordan, and it is a stand-alone book. It features Laney and her rescuer. Laney was the only survivor of an Alaskan plane crash, and we find her rescued by a mysterious man. Her rescuer takes her to his cabin where he watches over and takes care of her. There are so many questions about this guy, and yet, Laney is drawn to him. Simply put, she's addicted. Who is he? What's his name? Does he have good intentions? Why is he living so far away from the rest of civilization? Will anyone she's still alive? This book was interesting. It was dark and erotic, but also had suspense and was a thriller. It's definitely not the typical happily-ever-after romance type of novel I'm used to reading, so it was a little hard for me to adjust to. The beginning was a little slow for me, but once you get to the middle, the plot thickens. And the ending was totally unexpected! You just go through a range of emotions while you read this, and it left a lot of questions. I think with the way the book ended, it left it open for a follow-up novel. "Crash" wasn't really my cup of tea, but I'm sure others will like it.

Wow! What a book! I could not put it down! Hard core with lots of twists and turns and the ending!!!! This is author is trying to shake up the romance thriller genre & doing a bang up job! 4.5 stars for this ARC that I received for an honest review.

Erotic thriller? This story is the definition of erotic thriller! I went in to the read knowing that this was darker than my normal kind of story and WOW!!! What a wild ride! I was on the edge of my seat turning the pages faster and faster to see what comes next. As the story progresses we piece together that Laney has not had an easy life. We know almost nothing about her savior and you alternate between wondering whether he is a good guy or really bad guy… it’s hard to tell… THEN there are twists in the story that make you question whether Laney is all that she seems to be too! See what I mean? WILD RIDE! And this is the first book I have ever read that we end of the story without ever knowing the lead male’s name… Crazy huh?? Intrigued yet? There’s more story to come so grab this now so you can be ready for the rest!! I received an advance copy from the author for an honest review. Fave quotes: Laney – “My God, his eyes were so intense. He looked like he could raise the knife and slit my throat. After giving me an orgasm” Laney – “I was four months past my twenty-fourth birthday. I wasn’t supposed to die this young. Apparently fate had agreed and I was rattled, but really f*cking grateful.” Stranger – “I didn’t miss sex. I missed you. I missed you before I even met you.” Grade A - See more at: http://thebookreadinggals.com/crash-by-drew-jordan/#sthash.ZtIcNjol.dpuf
