Jake Braden, the last holdout of the family in the marriage mart, is sick of seeing how happy his brothers and sister are in wedded bliss. It reminds him too much of Fiona Ryder, the woman that broke his heart 16 years prior. Fiona regrets the decision she made of cutting their relationship off based on the advice of her mother to sow some wild oats.... In order to win him back, she takes an unorthodox job with no pay as a personal assistant to her best friend who is starring in a movie that Jake coincidently is the stunt double for the male lead. These two realize that they are meant to be together, but they still live two separate lifestyles.. Her life, as a geologist, is filled with scientific studies, research papers, and a promotion on the horizon... He's a stunt double in the Hollywood industry that's full of parties, fans, and paparazzi. His life is wherever the movie set is... Is there a happy medium between the two?? To end in happiness they each realize they would either have to make a selfish or a selfless decision. Which one will prevail?

Initially I was at a lost as to what to write for this review. This feeling was not based on my not liking this book as that was far from the case. It was based on my doubts that I would be able to write about another Melissa Foster book without repeating my thoughts from previous reviews. I recently began reading her books and I became hooked on her Love in Bloom and Seaside Secrets series. I Have not had the chance to read all the books in the Love in Bloom series, but those that I read I enjoyed immensely. It was while reading these books that I was introduced to Jake Braden and to say I was intrigued by him is an understatement. I could not wait for his story to be written. As such I was glad for the opportunity to be a part of this tour, which provided me with the chance to read and review Crashing into Love. Crashing into Love tells the story of former high school sweethearts Jake Braden and Fiona Steele. These two were hopelessly in love with each other and had their lives planned out. However, circumstances led to Fiona ending the relationship ultimately breaking Jake’s heart. Jake took the break-up hard. In a bid to exorcise her from his heart he began living life in the fast lane. He thrived on taking risks, both in his professional and personal life. Now, sixteen years later, Fiona has returned and is determined to win him back. He, however, is determined to avoid her at all cost. Will Fiona succeed in winning back Jake’s love? Will Jake be able to let go of past hurts and rekindle his love with Fiona? I fell totally and completely with Jake, despite his whoring ways. It was a welcome change to see the vulnerable side of the male protagonist. It shows that men may appear like they are tough, but deep down they are just as susceptible to emotional pain as their female counterpart. Jake tried to get away from his feelings for Fiona but it was a futile effort. I loved Fiona’s determination. She is willing to fight for what she wants even if it meant facing rejection from the man she loves. I loved that both parties accepted that their love of sixteen years ago was not the same today. I love that Jake is willing to change his risky ways. This proved how much he has grown. Crashing into Love is a beautiful story about second chances. I am a firm believer in giving second chances as such I was rooting for Jake and Fiona. I loved every moment spent reading and I believe this is a fitting end to what I consider to be a great series. If you have never read Melissa Foster’s work and you are looking for a new to sink your teeth in then the Love in Bloom would be a great start. It should be noted that each book can be read as a stand-alone.

Jake had his heart broken years ago by his first (and only) and seeing his brothers all getting married and living in blissful happiness is like a dagger to the heart for him. He has tried and failed at relationships, unable to let go of that hurt. He has spent years managing to avoid his high school sweetheart, Fiona until she manages to get to a job working on the movie that Jake is filming... Fiona got accepted into college meaning she would be moving away from Jake. On the advice of her mother, she ends the relationship and goes to sow some of her wild oats... a decision she lives to regret. On her visits back home, she tries to reconnect with Jake but the hurt is still raw. As they reconnect it becomes clear that over the years there have been major changes to each of them....can they put aside these changes and stay together on the strength of their love? I'm not going to ruin it for it and find out!! Haha! Another unputdownable book from Melissa, another gorgeous Braden to daydream about! 5/5

Words cannot express the praise and love that I have for Melissa Foster and her masterpieces of art. Her writing style is hands down one of the best romance genres out there today. With a stroke of a pen, she is able to captivate and thrill her audiences with love, romance, heart warming tales of heroism, strong female leads, hope, kindness and the list goes on. Her latest tale Crashing Into Love, a branch out of her series Love in Bloom and Bradens, focuses on another one of the Braden men – Jake Braden, a heartthrob in the acting world, who Foster creates a tale of first loves, when his long lost first love, Fiona Steele marches her way back into his life and his heart. Foster’s ability to write how love can overcome, her ability to strike hope in her reader, and the way she strikes passion into her storylines, is a talent like no other. You are in a for a treat, when you pick up a Melissa Foster novel, as her latest story has everything a good book needs. Love, Drama, Romance, Heat, Passion and steamy sex. Foster is the very best in the Romance Writing Industry and her novels are every book worms dream! Foster = Must Read = Everytime!

They say there's nothing worse than a woman scorned, but there is no deeper hurt than a man whose heart has been broken. Spoiled for any other other woman, Jake runs from any resemblance of a committed relationship since Fiona, his high school sweetheart broke up with him just before leaving for college. Fiona has lived the life  that she thought she wanted for so long and has decided that she needs to put her heart out there and try to reconnect with Jake. Since their break-up Jake has made every attempt to avoid Fiona when she visits their hometown, but there's no escaping her now. As Jake continues to fight and deny his feelings for Fiona, he slowly realizes that his life isn't the happy life he wanted. Reunited and it feels so good; they have one of those relationships where despite how much time has passed, Jake and Fiona pick up right where they left off. And with more passion than ever before. But like us all, ake and Fiona have become different people since high school, and battle to decide whether they can make the relationship work or whether they need to finally part ways. This story takes you back to your first love, the one you could never forget, and you definitely will root that Jake and Fiona can make their relationship work this time around.

Once again I am not disappointed by Melissa Foster. What am I saying?? You will never be disappointed by Melissa Foster! This is Jake and Fiona's story. Once upon a time they were together. Then Fiona got these crazy ideas in her head and she broke Jake's heart. Years later Fiona rethinks the whole idea and realizes she has made one of the biggest mistakes of her life. Is it too late? One thing for sure is Jake can hold a grudge. He's not going to make things easy for Fiona.  When her friend offers her the opportunity to be near Jake she jumps at the chance. She wants to reconnect with Jake and hopes that he will feel the same.  One of the things I admire most about an author is the way they make the characters come alive. You find yourself rooting for one character or laughing out loud from a funny scene. That is Melissa Foster in a nutshell. When Fiona and Jake see each other again you can feel the tension. When things don't go very well with that first meeting you can also feel your heart drop along with Fiona's when Jake acts like less than a gentleman. Once you get past most of the angst you start to feel other emotions when they're together. You feel how one still wants to be with the other so bad but trust has to be earned. You feel the attraction that still exists when they are in the same room.  The only other thing I can say is I hope Ms. Foster finds some more cousins hiding out somewhere and continues to write about them. Thank you so much for letting me continue my reviews of your books. It is always like coming home.

Every character in Melissa Foster’s series are downright amazing. All of the men have some sort of appeal to them. The women in the series are strong and could make it on their own, but when they find that special connection it is even better. In this novel, Jake and Fiona are introduced to us as high school loves and they had everything for their life planned out before them. They have spent years together and now everything has been threatened. Fiona and Jake are a meant to be couple. They just have to prove to themselves once more that this is what is meant to be for them. Fiona is one of those girls that just seems to have everything going for her. She has a great job that she loves and even her own home. Her life is not complete though because she does not have Jake Braden by her side, and this is the one thing that she really needs. She has always wanted to be able to be with Jake again, but every time that she thought about it she would make excuse after excuse as to why now was just not the right time. Fiona has hit the end of waiting and excuses. She makes it so that she will work a job on his next movie. She was going to make her move finally to get him back! Fiona is a determined woman and I loved her character so much. She had more strength and guts than I would ever have had in her situation. I was pretty chicken when it came to relationships with making the first move. Fiona was noted as having her moments of weakness when she was younger, but that just made me love her as a character more. She became stronger because of it and was able to take charge of her life and what she wanted from her relationship with Jake. Jake’s character was a little more rough around the edges. He had fallen in love when he was in high school, but just like that she was gone. Jake became that kind of guy that moves from relationship to relationship to try and mend what had been broken. He did not want to give his heart completely to someone because of the thought that he might be hurt once again. Jake does everything that he can to keep the thoughts and memories of Fiona from popping up in his head. When the two finally meet again, Jake does not know how to handle it. Jake’s standoffish character was making it hard for me to like him as a character. As the story progressed though, Jake turns himself around and is able to feel once again. His character makes a shift in being able to love again. I was cheering inside. I love happy triumphs when it comes to a love story. Second chances rarely come around again when it comes to love and so for that Jake and Fiona were lucky that they had that. Even though it has been years since they have seen each other, they have to admit that they can not think about anything else besides each other when it comes to love. Neither one of them had given up on the love that they had for one another which was an amazing thing to read about. As always Melissa Foster pulls on all the right emotional places in your heart. Like I have said time and time again…..I hope this series never ends!  I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

Melissa Foster puts a lot into her characters. I find myself getting emotionally attached to them in most of her books. This was definitely one of those books. This story was little different as the characters were actually each others first loves. Those are always the hardest to get over. Having to go back to town and running into that first love is even harder. Jake and Fiona have a great story and I really enjoyed it. Like most of the books though there were parts that I cried and parts that I laughed. If you have not read any of Melissa Foster's books you really need to jump in!

Fiona is one of my favorite characters yet of Melissa Foster's. She is a strong woman who doesn't let love control her. She left Jake behind to sew her wild oats. She is the "guy" of their teenage romance. She is my college hero. Jake turns into the classic bad boy. He has all the ladies and all the money he could want, with the exception of one. Fiona, the one who got away. Jake is the last of the Braden boys. He's refused to let anyone in since Fiona broke his heart oh so many years ago. Can he open up and let her back in? Should he open up and let her in? I really liked this installment in the Braden Family. Foster weaves a world that I just want to lose myself in constantly. I can not wait to see who she introduces us to next!

While I liked this book it is similar yet different from Melissa’s other books. Similar to Seaside Secrets, the last one in the family to get together is the one who was with their partner at a younger age. How they separated even has a few similarities, tho I won’t spoil the book and tell you. This is a great book and I really enjoyed it, if you like her other books you'll like this one.

One of my biggest disappointments in reading is when the book ends and I lose all of my newly acquired friends whose lives I've been immersed in for days and I've completely fallen in love with and have become emotionally invested in. That's the awesome part of the Love in Bloom series. Going into each new book you already know at least a tiny bit about at least one of the main characters from previous books, and bonus: you get to check in on all of your old friends and see how they're doing. This is good for Melissa and for us, we're already predisposed to the characters going in, meaning we're more invested from the first line. Of course for Melissa it means that we'll keep coming back for more. Which is good! Jake's heartbreak is alluded to in some of the other Braden books, so I was most excited to finally meet this woman that broke his heart and kept him away from Trusty. I loved seeing their relationship and the memories of it head on and not just from the periphery. I enjoyed watching them figure out how to navigate their new relationship while dealing with the scars from their past. I always find second chance romances especially interesting because of that. They have to build a new relationship while simultaneously repairing the old one.  Melissa does a great job of building unique and interesting stories for each of her couples. I always look forward to getting tangled in the lives and emotions of her characters. *I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Jake and Fiona were childhood sweethearts, until she dumped him and broke his heart. Even though she has regretted it all along, there was no way to get him back, since he has avoided her like the plague. Now that the opportunity has come along, she has put her life on hold, to do whatever it takes to get him back. Jake is not the same man that she once knew, but she is certain that she is up for the challenge. Or is she? This is the Braden story that I have been waiting for, and it didn’t disappoint. I think that all the raw feelings coming to the surface is what made this story so good. There seemed to be quite a bit more steaminess than in the other books, but that was understandable. No complaints here. All in all, a very good ending to their story.

Crashing Into Love is my first encounter with one of the Braden men, I have longed to read about them as I have seen so many great reviews for Melissa Fosters Braden series (in fact all her books!) Fiona Steele and Jake Braden used to date, and it is clear that she really broke his heart and screwed him up big time when she broke off their relationship before heading to college.  In this book Fiona put her promotion on hold to chase after Jake, in the hopes that he will take her back after all this time apart and give it a go at a second chance. Her friend Trish hires her as her PA, on the latest movie she is filming and Jake just so happens to be the stuntman for main male lead. You can tell by Jake they he still cares about her and loves her, despite trying to avoid her like the plague when they meet in their hometown. Fiona really goes all out to win him back, but his fame makes her slightly uneasy as she isn't used to be in the spotlight. The six weeks that they are together is amazing for them, but neither really want to talk about what will happen after that point. Do they get their happy ever after? Who gives up what for whom? You will just need to read it to find out. Again as with all of Melissa Fosters books this is easy to read as a stand alone, and the more I read her books the more I love her characters. 5 Stars

h Melissa always make me fall in love with these sweet, tough, caring men. Every single time I end up walking away with a sign hoping that I'll find my own Braden! Jake is no exception here. Jake's entire family seems to have caught the love/marriage bug and all of these amazingly talented Braden's are finding the loves of their lives.....but Jake isn't totally sure that's his thing. A relationship from the past has left him looking for fun rather than love. He's a total Hollywood playboy, living the fast life as a stuntman. Fiona, his previous love from many years ago, realizes she needs to make him see that they should be together. She pulls out all the stops to find a way to spend more time with him in order to show him that she's the one. Will this Braden let his heart go and let the walls down in order to let love in? YOU NEED TO READ THIS BOOK. Well, quite honestly, you need to read the entire series. Read any and all Melissa Foster books, you won't be sorry. might be sorry a little when you lose track of everything around you because it's nearly impossible to put her books down. There are worse habits to have though, right?

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Crashing Into Love. If you read romance you will know that in every tale someone will have their heart broken. What sets this story apart and makes it great is the way this is played out. We learn that Fiona Steele a successful woman with a great career once dated the sexy Jake Braden. She ended the relationship after following seemingly sensible advice from her mother, leaving him a broken man. The two eventually have to face the fact that feelings can be like air which cannot be boxed and kept under lock and key. Recognising this, Fiona sets out on a mission to win Jake back. I love the way she went about it and think it took a lot of courage for her to admit her true feelings and follow her heart. Crashing Into Love is not only great as a gift for romance lovers, it is perfect for delicious, lazy-day reading. It left me wanting more.

I finally got to meet up with Jake Braden.  Throughout the Love in Bloom Series, we have learned of Jake's womanizing ways.  He was painted to be a bad boy player that I figured I would despise him.  I even said that among the Braden bothers and if I was forced to "off" one of them, I'd pick him.  That was until I started Crashing into Love.   Jake Braden comes from a family filled with hunky men and sweet women.  They are based in Trusty, Colorado but when Jake moves to Los Angeles to become a stuntman he left his slower life behind.  That also included the love of his life.   When Fiona Steele takes a chance to spend some time on a movie set with her best friend, knowing Jake will be there, she has no idea how he is going to react.  After all the years of heartache and anger, can Jake forgive her?   I absolutely loved getting know both characters and let my heart change opinions of Jake very quickly.  He is sweet, loving, and very manly!  I want to ride dirt bikes with Jake and Fiona!  Savings their story for the last of this family is perfect!  Well done, Melissa!  You've made me feel complete with another love story!

Yep, I got to review another book from Melissa Foster. This time it is another Braden story, Crashing into Love. This time we get to read the love story of Jake Braden & Fiona Steele. Jake and Fiona were high school sweethearts that didn't end well. Now, Fiona puts her entire life on hold to see if she can win Jake back, not an easy task since he tries to avoid her at all costs. I loved this story even though most of us wouldn't have the opportunity to put our entire life on hold to go to another city for 6-8 weeks to win our true love back. Of course, this is fiction but it is always nice to imagine that you could do the same as the characters. I loved this story just like all of Melissa Foster's books. I became so involved in this book. I think, I read this one in just a few hours because I couldn't put the book down. I give this book 5 stars. You will love it. This book can be read as a stand alone book but you will want to read the entire series once you read this one. All of the books in this series are great. You will be hooked from the first book you read. However, it must be noted that this book is for mature readers due to some sexual content. If you are of age, and you love a good love story then you definitely need to try this book out. I can't wait to see what Melissa Foster writes next. I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

I enjoyed reading about each and every one of Jake’s siblings finding love… and in each book Jake was the one that was obviously going to be last one standing. I absolutely loved finally finding out what had caused him to have such a negative and anti-love attitude. Fiona really did break him when she left him. Fiona and Jake’s relationship wasn’t the whirlwind, love-at-first-sight kind of story as his brothers’ and sister’s. They had history…. and a lot of baggage to sort out. But… they also had history… a hot, true-love, forever, kind of history. I just loved finding out if, when, and how they would work it all out. Once again… the Braden family (as a whole) is almost it’s own character. I love that Melissa Foster doesn’t ever leave family out. Everyone should be ask lucky as to have a family like the Bradens. They all know each other so well. They are always looking out for each other. They get excited for one another, they get anxious for one another, the guide each other, and… they give each other a push even when they don’t know they need one. Seriously… still hoping their mom will find love now that her children all have.

Fiona hurts Jake. Fiona learns over the years that it was a mistake and that she needs to mend the fences and get him back. Jake was badly hurt by Fiona and isn't quite sure he wants to let her in for the possibility of her destroying him again. Love makes us do crazy things - at all stages in life! But the old saying is true, actions speak louder than words and Fiona proves this over and over again with how she pursues Jake. But will Jake be able to let go of the past and learn to trust Fiona again? Will their love have a second chance? I can't spoil that for you! If you're looking for a book that makes you feel like you're reading about a real-life relationship, this is the book that will do that for you. These two will have you wanting to grab both of them by the shoulders and shake the daylights out of them!!

I fell in love with the characters in Crashing into Love. Each one have their unique qualities and characteristics that made them stand out. This was my second story I read with the Love in Bloom: The Bradens. I already love their family. They're very close and great relationships with each other. The humor they have is also quite enjoyable. Even with beginning to read this series in the middle, it's easy to follow and learn who each are. You may not have the full back story of each character or family member this way, but they're still very good reads.   At the beginning, I was worried Jake would turn Fiona down. He kept seeming like he wanted nothing to do with her. I could see through his walls that he built around his own heart trying to deny that he had feelings left for Fiona. I was worried that he would keep pushing her away and not allow them the chance to try to find each other again. Of course, if he had done that, there may not have been a story with such a happy ending.   I was pleased with how well Fiona and Jake were trying to communicate with each other once they did start talking again. It may have took time to get them to both open up and move past any trust issues, but it was well worth it and they didn't give up.   I do believe they needed the time apart to find out who each other really are for themselves. They were still young when they had first dated. Their break up made them go after some of their dreams and discover things about themselves that they had not realized. Jake had lost himself in the process. It made Fiona and Jake trying to go back into a relationship together risky.  I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tour in exchange for a honest and unbiased review. All opinions are my own.
