About the Author

Liliana Hart spent five years teaching music in the public education system. She molded America’s youth, busted kids for smoking pot in the restrooms, and broke up illicit affairs behind the stage on a regular basis. (Liliana’s Addison Holmes Mystery Series, about a small town teacher who gets into a whole lot of trouble, is somewhat autobiographical, but she won’t confess to which parts).

Liliana began reading romance novels with all her new found free time, and when she ran out of things to read, she decided to write her own novels.

So disappointed. Ms. Hart is cheating us a lot on this series. Shane has his own book but the last three books I have read have had chapters from his book. These chapters have nothing to do with the story I purchased. This should have been sold as a novella also. The stories are getting shorter and she's using chapters of Shane's book as filler. There was no romantic connection but had plenty of detailed sex. Evangaline acted like a teenager that got her feelings hurt rather than a 30 year old woman.

I liked the story but was dissaponted that I spent $4.99 for a book that's only 175 pages. I have read free books that are longer than this. The ending was rushed.

Not as well written as previous books. Thought the story was emotionless and bland. Wondered if it was the same author.

The story starts well, intense scene from the past, where groundwork is laid down for the story to come, I got excited and my hopes got up, but unfortunately, the story didn't deliver, and I was left wondering. Evie and Cal seemed interesting, but their characters didn't get much development, and they fell flat. There was so much potential with them at the beginning, I don't think they got what they deserve. Also Evie is 30 years old, and behaves rather like a teenager, and being so super smart, not seeing the true error of her ways when she was younger, just surprised me. The sex scenes are explicit, and detailed, even though the emotional connection was not built up again, after 10 year separation. The suspense and action part seemed like an afterthought, the ending was so rushed, they even forgot to check if the villain was still alive, these 'best of the best' agents. Right. The scenes with Shane MacKenzie were interesting for those following the series, like I have, but they were interruptions from the main storyline, and took away from Evie and Cal. When you add all the editorial mistakes, (thing I usually don't mention, since I often read an advanced reader copies, and those are not final, print ready copies of the book,) I was floored. To pay $4.99 for a novella, that has light and rushed storyline, and little to no editing, I just have to wonder what happened to one of my favorite series. Sorry, but this wasn't what I expected at all, for the beginning of the story ~ Two Spoons

I love all the Mackenzie Security books and Crave did not disappoint. I love the mix of who did it, how do we get them, and how do we manage to fall in love at the same time as trying to stay alive. Liliana Hart writes books that are easy to read and that I know I will always want to buy. Can't wait for the next book in the series!! Seriously, read Crave, it's worth every penny!!
