I read the overview which is what made me want to read this book. However, the content was actually for book 2 in the series. I read the whole book because I liked it. I just wish I had been able to read the actual content for book 1 instead.

On my Nook the title said CRAVE, but it turned out to be RELEASE, the story of Lori and Kaleb. Release was a nice story, and I learned a lot more about skiing.

I really enjoyed this debut novel by Violet Vaughn, her descriptions of the life of as a ski instructor felt some real and her real life experience of the profession rather than just based on research was clear through her writing. Casey is torn between her relationships of Jason and Blaine. I felt the author did a cracking job of keeping the love triangle moving without overdoing it. The whole issue of whether Blaine was heterosexual, gay or perhaps even bi was sympathetically portrayed, you could feel his confusion and torn loyalty to Casey and other friends in his life to be seen as “normal”. The character development of Casey was good as she moved through her journey of leaving Jason behind, meeting Blaine to seeing Jason again. All in all a great balance of themes. I recevied a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

True love, lust, loss, secrets, friendship, and more all in one book.  I really enjoyed this one.  Breck was her escape, and ultimately, where all her dreams came true. This story was sweet without the toothache and had a good flow to it.

LibraryThing Book Review Casey Cassidy knows what she wants and determined to get it. Casey wants children but doesn't believe she can be with a man that doesn't want children in their future. Casey moves to Breckenridge Colorado to start her life over again and away from heartache that Jason Garrison brings. Casey loves her life in Breck and looking forward to become ski instructor next season. Casey meets Blaine Johnson finds herself attracted to him. Little does Casey know Blaine is keeping a big secret from everyone. Casey and Blaine become a couple but their intimate relationship is seriously lacking. Jason pops back into Casey's life which causes trouble for her with Blaine. Will Casey and Blaine's relationship work? What does Jason mean to Casey? Your answers await you in Crave. I really enjoyed how each of the relationships revolved and evolved together and apart. I loved the characters! I thought the characters were honest, real, down to earth, unique, and understanding. I thought the story was well written and complex. I'll definitely consider reading more from this author in the future.

This was a fun, quick read, and I really enjoyed getting to know each of the characters while going on a wonderful winter adventure with them. Casey and Jason steamed up my Kindle on a number of occasions and the chemistry between them was smoking hot. They were the perfect couple and I really was hoping that they'd finally get together, once and for all. It was obvious that they loved each other but neither was prepared to compromise.  This book had a few exciting surprises, and I honestly was not expecting Blaine's big surprise. It only added to the excitement of this story.  This book was romantic, funny and full of adventure. If you're looking for a light read that will make you smile and keep you hooked, this is definitely the one for you.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Amazing! Beautifully written first novel and definitely one I would read again. This is one of those books that you will stay up all night to finish because you just HAVE to read more. The writing was smooth and always had me on the edge of my seat, I loved the characters, especially the hot skiers. Vaughn's ability to make me feel like I'm living in Colorado with them is spectacular. I can't wait for the next book to come out! This is one of the best New Adult books I have read all year.
