Craved by an Alpha Review Soon to be Posted At: Riverina Romantics My Rating: 4 out of 5 ¿ Heat Rating: 4 out of 5 ¿ I was extremely excited when I found out Cavanaugh was getting a book. I had been interested in his character since he was introduced. He was mysterious and clearly held back, and I wanted to know why, to know his story. Then Eloise walks into his life…and his story begins… I knew I was gonna love Cavanaugh from the moment I met him. He is everything I ever wanted in a strong alpha male. He was incredibly protective, he never did anything without making sure he could look after those he cared about. He was willing to put his life on the line to protect others. He was strong and intimidating, caring and genuine, even loving and passionate. He was a perfect mix of everything, it’s no wonder others looked up to him. When Eloise walks into the bar he works at, his entire life turns upside down. He had waited so long for the moment where he could see her again, and in she walks—clearly in danger. His instincts as an alpha kick in and he takes her under his protection. She awakens feelings in him he hadn’t felt in many years and makes it difficult for him to do the right thing. He did everything in his power to protect her and keep her safe. He knew the dangers, but it didn’t matter to him. He followed his heart and used his skills to show her he was still the same, and that she was more important to him than anything in the world. He was honest with her, never hiding what he truly felt for her from her. He wanted her to understand that she was his and always would be. They shared a passion that was all-consuming and had a love that was meant to be. Eloise was a woman on a mission. She had to find Cavanaugh, and she did. But she wasn’t expecting everything she’s felt for him to come roaring back to the surface with a vengeance. She was determined to get him to help her, to save her and the rest of his pack. Her determination also showed her strength. To be living the life she had, she had to be strong. She was incredibly beautiful and pure-hearted. Although she loved him, she knew she could not be selfish. She was willing to put the lives of her people before her desires, which showed how much she cared for others. She had a beautiful soul and Cavanaugh saw it. He refused to let her keep walls up between them. Slowly and methodically he tore them down, showing her what they had before would be theirs again. He never led her to believe that he was going to go back, to separate them again. She tried to be honorable, but a determined and sexy as hell alpha showed her that he had no interest in anyone but his destined mate. Their passion was explosive, and their love was destined. I truly love this series, but there was something about this book that did not quite hit as hard as all the others. I can’t put my finger on what, but I felt the impact of Cavanaugh and Eloise’s story was not enough. There could have been more to it that made their relationship stronger. However, that being said, I still loved the two of them together. There was no doubt that their love was strong and a kind of bond that was destined to be completed. It was only a matter of time. Cavanaugh was the perfect man for a strong woman like Eloise. There was no doubt in my mind that they truly loved each other, that their feelings for each other were strong and pure. I think I’m in love with him myself. Lucky shifter.

**I received this book for free from Author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.** **This book may be unsuitable for people under 17 years of age due to its use of sexual content, drug and alcohol use, and/or violence.** I really enjoyed Craved by an Alpha - it was a quick read, but didn't sacrifice the richness that I've enjoyed so far in the series - the characters are complete and complex, the story satisfying. Even though I still miss the characters from the first couple books in the series, I didn't feel their absence nearly as much in Craved by an Alpha. I think I didn't miss them because they wouldn't have fit in this story - unlike the other ones, where the characters fit into this tangled web and meet for the first time in the book, these characters knew each other before and belong to their own exclusive sub-world. And I loved that Craved by an Alpha was about fixing a past relationship gone wrong - it gave the mating storyline a freshness and uniqueness it needed this far into the series. I was able to get caught up in something a little different and, as a result, less obvious to me. If you're looking for a sweet, sexy, quick romance, I recommend Craved by an Alpha. And even though its part of a larger series, you can easily pick it up on its own, since its connections to the previous books are miniscule.

Yummy well written read I first meet Cavanaugh when I reviewed Felicity Heaton’s “Hunted by a Jaguar” and I knew immediately that I wanted to know more about him. There was something about him being quiet, ferocious and standoffish that seemed to call to me. I wanted his story and I just knew it had to be about a women. This book did not disappoint me in fact it went far above my expectations. His fated mate, Eloise is shown as someone who loves Cavanaugh but knows her place in the pride. Her character is refreshing because even though she is beta she is portrayed with strong character strength, which is very appealing for readers. This book shows her struggle with loving him and her willingness to put the pack first then walk away because betas can’t mate alphas. This book is written from Cavanaugh’s perspective and I really enjoy how his mind works through problems and his struggle to do the right thing and claim his fated mate. The author includes some additional excitement in the storyline with a cruel alpha that is now in charge of Cavanaugh’s pride. The fight’s scenes are written well and the description of it is sure to pull you in like it did me. I give this book 5 hearts. An ARC copy was gifted in exchange for an honest opinion

4.5 Stars Reviewed by Angela and posted at Under The Covers Book Blog Cavanaugh was shocked to see his mate after leaving his pride all these years. Being the next Snow Leopard in line, Cavanaugh is the true alpha of his pride. Unfortunately, the duties and responsibilities did not bode well with him, so he left bput he swore he’d go back one day for the woman he love. Eloise is determined to find and bring Cavanaugh back to their pride for him to take his place as alpha and restore peace back in the land. But it’s not that easy as it seems. They will have a bit of adventure full of dangers, getting to know each other again and of course to win back his Cavanaugh’s place. Eloise and Cavanaugh’s adventure back to their pride was such fun story to read. Despite their issues in the past it was obvious how much they still cared for each other. I was afraid the refusal to see it would bring too much angst to the story but Heaton did a great job making it sweet and romantic. It’s also not a surprised that this book packed a good punch of action scenes. Of course, this has become a usual for Ms Heaton. It’s why I keep reading her books. She has yet to disappoint me. *ARC provided by author

Craved by an Alpha is a hot emotional read that will keep you glue to page from the start, We met Cavanaugh in the previous book, Hunted by a Jaguar, and although his part there was really small I was super interested in his story. I just knew his love life was going to be great and let me tell you that I wasn't wrong!  Cavanaugh left his pride 10 years ago and with that the woman he loves but when his plans of going back for her are interrupted by Eloise herself he isn't so sure that was the right choice.  I love how different this book was from the previous ones, Cavanaugh knows she's his fated female and he isn't trying to run or fight it and in a way Eloise isn't either so the whole dancing around the bond is out of the story and in it's place is something much more deeper in an emotional sense. Both of them were raised in the pride rues and customs so they aren't fighting their feelings, they are obeying the rules.  I loved this book from page one, I think it was because the characters already had a past and a relationship so the feelings were so strong and real from the start. There was no slow building in this book, Eloise and Cavanaugh have deep feelings for each other and are just trying to find a balance in their onw conflicting emotions and maybe a way to forgive themselves for the desitions they both took in the past.  At some points it was frustrating to see why they didn't even try to work it out but reading more about them in each page you come to understand both their reasoning for them Felicity Heaton did it again with Craved by an Alpha. She gave us a new story with new elements and still kept the storyline and voices of the characters and the series. I can't wait to read more of this.

This novella is the fifth story in the Eternal Mates series by Felicity Heaton. This is a series that I've enjoyed since I started reading book one, Kissed by a Dark Prince.  I love that there are four books coming out back to back to back early this year.  The author has gifted us with some great stories.     In this book, we have Cavanaugh, a snow leopard (one of my favorite real life animals, they are just beautiful).  He has left his pride and his mate, the love of his life and best friend.  After the death of his father, he was forced to become alpha of his pride.  Becoming alpha means that he had to give up the love of his life because of her station in the pride.   When Eloise shows up at Underworld, she is not the same girl that Cavanaugh walked away from five years earlier. She is much stronger and a lot more desperate. The current acting alpha is terrorizing the pride and she wants Cavanaugh to come back and retake the pride, even if that means they could never be together.   I really enjoyed their trip back to the grounds was pretty amazing. I would have loved to actually have seen the scenery. The detail that was used for the cliff climbing was pretty remarkable, especially for a novella.  While, there wasn't much action during this part of their journey, the author was detailed enough to keep the story very interesting. Once they get closer to the pridelands (is that too Lion King sounding??), the action picks up even more.     Craved by an Alpha is a book that you could read without reading any of the other books in the series.  We don't see much of the other characters in the series.  While I did miss seeing them, this story was a great even with just the snow leopards. I highly recommend this series to any paranormal romance fan. I'm really excited to start the next book in this series. Luckily, I don't have to wait long.   **Book was provided to me by the author. This review is my opinion and was not requested or provoked in anyway by the author.

Addicting Series: CRAVED BY AN ALPHA is the fifth installment in Felicity Heaton’s adult, contemporary Eternal Mates erotic, paranormal romance series. This is snow leopard shifters Cavanaugh and Eloise’s storyline-a second chance at love for destined mates. CRAVED BY AN ALPHA can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Told from third person point of view, the storyline focuses on reluctant alpha and snow leopard Cavanaugh as he is tasked, by his cautious mate, with returning to his homeland to claim what is rightfully his-the leadership of his pride and a mate he has not seen for close to five years. Eloise has been searching for Cavanaugh for two years hoping to convince the man that she loves to return to their village and accept  his position as alpha. Cavanaugh left the pride to protect the woman that he loves only to learn that the male who assumed leadership has left the pride decimated, destroyed and fearing for their lives. CRAVED BY AN ALPHA follows Cavanaugh and Eloise on their trek back to their homeland. Their time is running out-Cavanaugh has eight days to reclaim his position as alpha or the mantle goes to the current male in charge. What ensues is a journey of flight and foot, through the jungles and over treacherous mountain terrain where our hero reflects on family, his life and the past ten years. Cavanaugh never claimed his mate leaving her to defend for herself against a tyrant and sadistic murderer. The majority of the storyline is a reflection; a narration that reveals Cavanaugh’s emotional pain and history with his pride. As the reluctant heir and alpha, Cavanaugh tired of the constant battle for leadership and feared placing his unclaimed mate in danger. Leaving the pride was the worst move Cavanaugh could have made. The relationship and former friendship between our leading couple has already been established but the years under a tyrannical rule have left Eloise fearful and submissive. The sex scenes are erotic and provocative but Cavanaugh had yet to claim his mate-the woman he has never stopped loving. Felicity Heaton takes the reader on quest; a pilgrimage to the homeland where the scenery and beauty of the land adds to our couple’s wants and needs. There are moments of heartbreak and anguish; romance and love. Because most of the storyline is a reflection, the communication between our couple is limited. The previous history and current dilemma are revealed through contemplation, consideration and internal dialogue. Saying that, Eloise is reluctant to reveal the true nature of her journey and the frightening conditions back home. Felicity Heaton writes addicting storylines of strong alpha males and the women they love. Her $ex scenes are erotic and seductive; the relationships are emotional and intense. The ETERNAL MATES series and CRAVED BY AN ALPHA are imaginative, enchanting and a rewarding read.

This is the fifth book in the Eternal Mates Series. I loved it! Cavanaugh is a fantastic character. I was intrigued by him when he was first introduced in Kyter and Iolanthe's story, Hunted by a Jaguar. It has been a pleasure getting to know him better. He is a snow leopard shifter, who has left his pride and his responsibilities as pride Alpha, so that he could be with the woman he knows to be his fated female. When Eloise unexpectedly turns up in Kyter's bar, Underworld, Cavanaugh finds himself facing a difficult decision. Eloise is also a fantastic character. I liked her very much. She is also a snow leopard shifter and has travelled a long way to find Cavanaugh and bring him back to the pride. Can she convince Cavanaugh to take back the title of pride Alpha in time? I have been eagerly awaiting the release of this book, as I have come to love this series. I started to read the story and was quickly pulled in, and didn't put the book down until I had finished. The story is told through the points of view of both Cavanaugh and Eloise, which gives the reader a chance to see their thoughts and feelings. The story is very well told and the descriptions of people and places brought the tale to life. However, I don't know why, but I found the fight scenes not as vibrant or as exciting as they would normally be. The author is usually very good at describing battle scenes, but I felt there was something lacking in the action on the main fight scene. However, I think it's because it was only a fight and not an all out war that made me feel a bit short changed; I'm used to epic battles in this series! That being said, the story was full of the usual heat and passion I have come to expect from the characters in this series. I'm surprised that the snow didn't melt due to the heat generated by them!  This story had a gentler romance arc compared to the other books in the series, as Eloise is more subservient in demeanor (that is, unless she forgets herself and speaks her mind), due to her belief that this is how a lower-ranked female should behave towards her Alpha. Cavanaugh, on the other hand, wants an equal to be by his side, but he is too scared to push Eloise due to the trauma she faced at the hands of the stand-in Alpha. I think he underestimates her inner strength; I wanted to egg him on to push her into standing up to him more.  I reached the end of the book and gave a huge sigh of satisfaction. I am now looking forward to reading the next book in the series, Bitten by a Hellcat, as soon as possible. Felicity Heaton has written another fast paced, sexy paranormal romance that I thoroughly enjoyed! I love her writing style, which flows effortlessly from scene to scene. She is number one on my favourite authors list! I do not recommend this book to younger readers due to the extremely HOT and explicit sexual scenes. However, I highly recommend this book (and series) if you love sexy paranormal romances full of vampires, elves, werewolves, cat shifters, succubi, incubi, angels, dragons and demons. - Lynn Worton

~ 4.5 Craved by an Alpha Stars ~  Hot dame this series just keeps getting better or should I say it’s all Amazing. Craved by an Alpha is book five in the Eternal Mates series by Felicity Heaton. Don’t let the five scare you off this one can be read as a stand alone. We get the perfect amount of plot, character development, and romance. Yep, I’m enjoying these new characters in the Eternal Mates series. Cavanaugh is one sexy snow leopard. I liked his determination to do what he thought was right, so he could be with his Eternal Mate. Eloise, I also liked. She was determination to get Cavanaugh back to his pride, so he could save them from a tyrant even if it meant she would lose the one she loved. Both are strong and determined. The one thing I could have down without was the repeat thoughts Cavanuagh had on what his plan was and that he wants her to love to be his mate not a mistress cause of his status in the pride. Other then that. This was another Fantastic Amazing read by Felicity. I love this series and If you have not picked it up yet, you must.  Disclaimer: ARC provided by author via tour host (Rabid PR) with the sole purpose of an honest review. I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. We briefly met Cavanaugh in Kyter and Iolanthe's story and I was immediately intrigued by him - I guess I like the tortured hero! We find out in his story that because of Pride rules and traditions, he can't be with the woman/cat that he wants to be with. When he is challenged as Alpha, he is injured and makes decisions that maybe aren't as smart as he thinks they are at the time. This leads him eventually to 'Underworld' where he spends his time quite happily counting down the days until he can claim his woman. Of course, the path to true love is never smooth... especially when it involves shifters who are stuck in century's old tradition and a stand-in Alpha who wants things his way only. Eloise has had it tough. She was basically persecuted by the stand-in Alpha due to her association with Cavanaugh. She stays because her family are there and leaving is a scary option. However, when it becomes that staying is the scarier choice, she decides to leave and find the one person that she thinks left her without a backward glance and put things right. Things definitely don't go smoothly for our couple but it does help them find each other again. Theirs is a more gentle love story than some that we've had. Cavanaugh is afraid to push Eloise too much due to the past trauma that he feels responsible for. Eloise feels, partly due to the stand-in Alpha and partly due to how she sees Cavanaugh's responsibilities as Alpha, the she is unable to go toe-to-toe with him like other main females do. It is nice to see flashes of her though as she "forgets her place" and let's rip with what she really feels and thinks. I can definitely recommend this story both by itself and also as a wonderful addition to the fantastic Eternal Mates series.

Cavanaugh and Eloise's Story Cavanaugh left his pride many years ago after losing to another so he would no longer have to be Alpha. He just could not lose his life mate.  But when he left he did so with no word to her or anyone else.  Cavanaugh had no idea the man who replaced him as Alpha would be so vicious to the women and others of the pride. But he can not step in until the 5th year mark which is days away.   Much to his surprise Eloise has come to the club and found him she needs him to come back to the pride although she really is not telling him why.  Will Eloise forgive him when she truly finds out why he left her all those years ago?  What of the pride and can he save them from Stellan? Very good shifter book with a bunch of romance.  I received a copy of this book for my honest review
