When his best friend and fellow Navy SEAL, Evan Prescott, died in his arms on the battlefield, Logan Kincaid gave his word to watch over Evan’s widow. But for two years he kept his distance…torn between honoring his solemn vow and succumbing to his secret love for his fallen comrade’s wife. But when Dani Prescott desperately reaches out to Logan for the help only he can give, he rushes to her side—determined to fight for her safety as fiercely as he fights against his own buried desire.

Someone claiming to be her husband is stalking Dani and her infant daughter, making them virtually prisoners in their remote country home. Logan’s elite military training and high-risk security expertise have outmatched more dangerous enemies. But the real challenge will be the burning temptation that threatens to overcome Logan whenever Dani is near…especially when she reveals her own hidden passion.

I loved and enjoyed reading the awesome & amazing, romantic love story, Crazy for Her by the talented Sandra Owens that I received free through Amazon Prime Kindle Firsts. When Logan Kincaid's best friend died in his arms, Logan promised to look after his wife, Dani Prescott, the secret love of Logan's life.  Logan stays away from Dani for two years because he does not want to make a move on his best friend's wife.  When Dani calls Logan requesting his help because a madman is after her, Logan comes to Dani's rescue. Read the highly recommended, extraordinary, fantastic & fabulous love story of Logan and Dani.

DNF @ 53% I went into Crazy For Her ready to dive head first into the K2 Team series. I downloaded all of the books before leaving for vacation and was more than ready to marathon the series! Sadly, I couldn't make it through the first book. I found myself really bored with the storyline, the pace, and the characters. After debating whether to finish the story or not, I opted to put the book down for good at 53%.

What a great beginning to a new series. This book sets the stage for the characters surrounding the people who work at K2 Security, and focuses on Logan Kincaid, the man who founded it. From the first page I was drawn into Logan’s story and could feel just how broken and scarred he was. And now that he must protect the wife of a member of his SEAL team that was killed on a mission he led, he must deal with not only the guilt of losing his team member, but the feelings he has towards the man’s wife. Talk about a man with some serious issues – and those only scratch the surface. Logan was everything I love in my military heroes and more – strong, honorable, alpha, protective, sexy, and he also had a sensitive and real side about him that I loved…the man even cook! As his story was revealed throughout the book it was hard not to admire what he had made of his life despite the challenges he has faced. I loved his protectiveness of those he loved and his ability to know when he was too close to something to make a good decision. Dani was so good for Logan. Even though she had experienced a terrible loss when her husband, Evan, was killed, she has built a nice life for her and her daughter. I love the way she found ways to honor Evan’s memory, from the children’s book she wrote to the memory box she was keeping. And as frustrating as Logan could be with her, she was so good at drawing him out and helping him begin to confront some of his issues. The mystery and suspense of the book were great and I loved all the twists and turns the plot took. I also loved watching how Dani’s stalker and all the events surrounding it played upon the dynamics between Logan and Dani. This was a great start to a series I can’t wait to read more of!
