"Rachel Lacey is a sure-fire star." --- Lori Wilde, New York Times bestselling author

Emma Rush can't remember a time when she didn't have a thing for Ryan Blake. Haven's resident bad boy is just so freakin' hot-with tattoos, a motorcycle, and enough rough-around-the-edges sexiness to melt all her self-control. Now that Emma's over being a "good girl," she needs a little help being naughty . . . and she knows just where to start.

Before Emma's brother enlisted in the military, he made Ryan promise that he would protect her from everything--including himself. When her brother doesn't come home, Ryan needs to turn his screwed-up life around to honor his pledge. But he knows he's still not the right kind of guy for someone as sweet as Emma. Only he can't stop wanting to be with her. Wanting her. Falling in love with a good girl may be the craziest risk this bad boy can take . . .

Big brothers cause more problems than you could ever imagine, even now, when you’re all grown up and that crush you have on your brother’s best friend kicks into overdrive. And that’s just where Emma is stuck. For years, she’s known Ryan: she even chased behind him and her brother Derek, and knows that there’s more to Ryan than the bad boy he shows the town. The up for anything boy has morphed into a tattooed, motorcycle riding man, breaking hearts and receiving ‘those’ looks from the town. But, when Derek doesn’t return from his tour in Afghanistan, the friendship that he and Emma have built starts to put Ryan in an awkward position. See, he promised Derek to look out for, and protect Emma, even from herself. But Emma is tired of her life being one day following the next, with no excitement, chances or even change. And, Ryan is looking really, no, scratch that, deliciously good. But something is holding them both back: might taking that chance actually ruin the friendship, the BEST friendship that they have? Oh Emma is willing to take that chance, but can she convince Ryan that he actually deserves and wants it too? From one strength to another, Lacey has built this series to give us realistic portrayals of situations (and people) that could be our friends, ourselves or even in the house down the street. And these two are no exception: while nohing dramatically new and different happens, they are just so well-suited, and super cute with a chemistry that is palpable and that balance that comes from knowing one another for years, that only hiccups occasionally when they start to think of one another in another way, a more adult and sexy way. And even as they both think they know what’s best, and what they really want in the beginning, the transformation as they grow to adjust those expectations and desires is adorable, and feels quite natural. With Ryan clinging to his “bad boy” image, not sure he should, can or would deserve the “good girl’ that is Emma, we see that he’s not realy so bad, and she’s quite the adventuress when she puts her mind to it. Those little frustrations that came from thinking too much were few, and fortunately they had plenty of “go with it times’ that seriously heated up the pages. Completely adorable, these two were easy to understand and cheer for, and fit perfectly into the series. I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via NetGalley for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Another great read from Rachel Lacey and I really liked Ryan and Emma as a couple. The chemistry between these two was amazing! They set every page on fire and and I really enjoyed watching them fall in love. I was happy to see that Ryan had truly grown from his troubled youth. I loved that he wasn’t a troubled bad boy, but instead someone who made some bad choices and had an edge but was a mature adult. Ryan’s development was really well written. I really connected with Emma in this book. I was pretty much the poster child for the goody two-shoes so I understand the desire to do things differently and have some fun. She was such a lovable character and I enjoyed every scene with her.

Emma has always had a crush on her brother's best friend, Ryan. Ryan promises Emma's brother to take care of her and protect her, even from himself, while he's away overseas. Sadly, her brother doesn't come home and their world changes. Emma wants to shake up her good girl image and believes Ryan is just the man to get naughty with. These two fight their attraction every step of the way, but then fooling around becomes love.

This is the 2nd book in the Risking it All Series. Emma has known Ryan Blake since they were kids, he was her brother's best friend. She has always had a crush on him but he was always the bad boy in town-with tattoos, riding a motorcycle. Emma has decided she wants to take a walk on the wild side. Ryan has always liked Emma but had promised her brother he would always protect her, even from himself. When her brother passes away in the service Ryan steps in to help her and in the process he falls for her.

You know that taking a walk on the wild side by having a fling with the former bad you had a crush on for years is not going to go the way you plan. This is exactly what happens when Emma decides that Ryan is the perfect guy to fool around with, especially since she plans to leave town in a few months. Ryan on the other hand is no longer the bad boy of his youth and he promised Emma's late brother he would look after her and never touch her. They actually have a really fun and sweet relationship with lots of heat between them. They've both had extremely hard and sad moments in their lives, but that somehow makes them perfect for each other. They hit a few bumps on the road, mainly due to Ryan's stubbornness, but it all works out in the end. I love the circle of friends and can't wait for Mark's story - loved the sneak peek at the end of this book! 4.5 stars I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. This is officially book two in the Risk it All series but because of a novella that hooks you in, I consider it story number three. Rachel did another spectacular job at building dynamic characters that make you feel as though they are family. Watching both Emma and Ryan grow in this book made me very proud. They have been best friends since they were pretty young, Ryan was a friend of Emma’s brother. When Emma’s brother went to war he promised to keep Emma safe and to not hook up with her. They managed to keep their relationship platonic for a long time. However when Ryan comes home to work with his buddies he realizes the best friend he left behind has grown into a beautiful woman. Men, so clueless! I liked Emma and Ryan they are such good friends and have a real closeness neither want to lose. I thought Rachel did a great job bringing the friendship these two have to the forefront. They knew so much about each other and Ryan has been traveling all over, even though they don’t say it outright it makes you think they kept in touch letters, email, etc. It is funny that Emma wants Ryan to help her be bad when all Ryan keeps trying to do is be good. The two complement each other well though, through in a fun family/friend group and you can’t go wrong. Crazy For You can be read as a standalone but I do recommend you read all the books to become immersed in Haven, NC. So don’t wait any longer, grab this series NOW. Find that reading spot and start enjoying Rachel Lacy’s Risk it All series. Who knows you might get some ideas for your bucket list, I know I did!

I adored everything about Ryan and Emma's love story! It was lighthearted, and that dash of angst that I usually look for was there as well, courtesy of Ryan's dilemma of sorts regarding his half-brother Trent. Rachel Lacey could have taken the usual route some others do and made this one long, drawn-out thing centering on Ryan's promise to Emma's brother, but thankfully, she's spared us from that! That's not to say, however, that neither Emma nor Ryan have issues to deal with as individuals and as a maybe-sorta-kinda couple. They're both looking for the same thing but never really realized that they were looking for one extra aspect as well--being in love with someone and having that feeling returned. Their relationship beyond friendship may have started out because of a dare, but I think there were already budding feelings even before that, which is why there was an ease to their transition from friends to lovers. So far, Crazy for You is my favorite book in the Risking It All series, and now I'm all curious about Mark Dalton and Jessica Flynn's story and who Mandy will be paired up with. I'm giving this second book five stars. ♥

Crazy for You has so many things I just love – friends-to-lovers, best friend’s sister, good girl/bad boy … that’s just a start :) Lacey just keeps getting better with this trio of troubled heroes! Emma and Ryan are so adorable together. Even while they spend a good part of the book trying to convince themselves that their friends-with-benefits relationship hasn’t turned into something more! Years of knowing one another, plus the bond of losing their families at a young age, give them a special understanding of each other. And it’s so delightful to see Ryan help step out of her comfort zone while she helps keep him guessing on where they’ll go next. While the trouble that comes to this relationship isn’t surprising, it’s the falling in love part that will capture readers’ hearts. Lacey does an amazing job of keeping the characters’ interactions fun and the feels coming from the beginning all the way to the wonderfully delightful epilogue. *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. Emma was the pesky little sister of Derek. Ryan and Derek were best friends with a penchant for thrill seeking. Emma always wanted to tag along, but the boys said no. After high school Derek enlisted with the dream of going to college after he finished his service. Ryan, always feeling restless, took off on his motorcycle across country in hopes of finding the little brother who was adopted after their mom overdosed. Ryan promised Derek to look after his sister AND not sleep with her.... Years later, Ryan returns to Haven to run an outdoor adventure business with his friends Mark and Ethan. Derek didn't make it back from war. Ryan also works part-time as a bartender. When Emma walks up to the bar, on a dare, he can't help but notice how she's grown up. Emma is all Ryan can fantasize about, but can't have. Emma enlists Ryan's help in becoming more "wild, sexy, adventurous". Ryan says yes, even though he knows nothing can come of a relationship between them. As Ryan and Emma spend more time together, it becomes harder to deny their connection and love. Emma struggles with following her dream to earn a degree in landscape architecture, while Ryan struggles with a promise he made 10yrs ago to Derek. I loved how supportive Ryan is of Emma. He introduces her to new experiences and helps her tackle her fears to achieve her dreams. I love that Emma supported Ryan's quest to form a relationship with his brother Trent. This novel was sweet, sexy, and funny. I did want to smack Ryan over the head about his reluctance to pursue Emma due to honoring a promise. Otherwise, this was a truly enjoyable read! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

I fell in love with Rachel Lacey’s Risking it All series with the first book. The second book, Crazy for You, does not disappoint. Emma and Ryan are everything I thought they would be and more. Lacey, thankfully, doesn’t spend a lot of time on the “I promised your dead brother” reason for keeping them apart. Don’t get me wrong, there is still a lot of shared baggage for them to address. Their willingness to do it together makes the story that much stronger. At its core, this novel is about families and how sometimes the families we create for ourselves are far more important than the ones we are born into. It is also about the nature of dreams and how the dreams you have at 18 don’t need to be your dreams at 27. Together, Emma and Ryan find their own way, which makes their HEA that much sweeter. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

4.5 stars Crazy for You by Rachel Lacey was a well written and very entertaining read, and I loved it! Emma and Ryan's story captured my heart, they were both beautiful, relatable and entertaining characters that I easily connected with. I was thoroughly entertained all throughout the book. I loved watching their relationship move from friends to lovers. They made me smile, they made me laugh and they made me swoon. And the chemistry was off the charts!! Overall, Crazy for You is a heartwarming read with characters that will take you on a emotional ride while they get to their happily everafter. Crazy for You is the second book in the Risking It All series, each book has been a joy to read and I highly recommend them. Looking forward to Can't Forget You which comes out October 31st 2017.

An adorably hot couple, a group of friends and lots of laughs! Rachel Lacey has slayed the friends to lovers trope with this latest installment in her Risking It All series. I love this group of friends in general, but Emma and Ryan together just tore up the pages! STEAMY! Can’t wait for more out of Haven, NC! Good girl Emma Rush has a hankering for a bad boy … and she knows just where to find one! Ryan Blake is a bad boy personified! The sexy swagger, the no commitment attitude, the motorcycle, the tattoos … HOT! He came back to Haven, NC a few months ago to open up an outdoor sporting facility with his buddies Ethan and Mark. They are having the time of their lives getting this thing up and running, but being around Emma again after all these years is sweet torture! He was best friends with her brother back in high school and when he went off to join the military, he promised him he’d take care of her for him … that might have been a dozen years ago, and her brother might have never made it home, but Ryan still feels the weight of that promise to his core. He might want to get his hands on the sexy doll she’s become, but he can’t do that to his friend … it would be wrong … wouldn’t it??

Ready for wild ride with Emma and Ryan, friends to lovers. Bad boy vs good girl. Emma has always had a thing for Ryan, she has finally decided to go after what she wants, Ryan made a promise to Emma's older brother, "keep her safe". Hmmm.... does that mean falling in love with her. Small town romance at it's best. Love all of the friends in this story. Great chemistry between Emma and Ryan with a little bit of spiciness. This is the second book in the series, but can be read as a stand alone. I highly recommend this story.

Looking for a sweet and sassy friends to lovers story?! This it is. I have never read anything by Rachel Lacey and went with this book on a whim. I will admit that the cover snagged me and then I read the synopsis. It sounded like the perfect mix of romance, friendship, and heartache. I was not disappointed. Crazy for You is a great story that is full of heart and love. Lately it seems like this niche of romance is a bit tired. Girl falls in love with her brother's best friend. But this story is not the case. One of the things I loved about this story is that there is true history and a solid friendship between Emma and Ryan. They have been through so much together and that bond is strong, almost unbreakable, until emotions and passion start to filter in. This book stands out from the crowd because you can understand the hesitation but undeniable connection these two have. When they decide to go for it, you fall in love with their love story. It is hot, passionate, and so very sweet. It is like they are seeing each other for the first time with a head start towards love due to their years of friendship. The details of this story also add some flair to the book! Their love of the outdoors and individual occupations add something fun. Emma and Ryan's love becomes friendship on fire and is endearing to watch grow. Add in a fantastic group of secondary characters and you have a winning combo. I adored the support system and "family" these two have become surrounded by. It adds emotion and heart! If you are looking for a sweet, passionate love story, grab Crazy for You today!

Wow! This story filled me with a heady mix of energy and emotions, an exhilaration that made me giddy and dizzy as if this story was a drug and I was an addict. Crazy for You by Rachel Lacey was my addiction I couldn't put it down. Older brother's best friend and the bad boy trope in one, was a dream come true. I swiftly succumbed to this story that slowly and smoothly seduced me. I had just started it and I already did not want it to end. A slow burn of seductive looks, flirty innuendo, friendship, family and a history of unrequited love that smoldered between them. A seductive and mesmerizing story with explosive chemistry, full of flirt, crazy fun, heat and heart. This has it all. Loved every word! This was my first Rachel Lacey story and I am hooked! Made my heartbeat race, made me sigh, laugh and cry. You have to give this story a try! Highly Recommended. I voluntarily requested an ARC through Tasty Book Tours and Netgalley and readily leaving a honest review.

emma rush has loved ryan blake forever and always. and in crazy for you, she finally decides that the time has come to take a leap. ever since she lost her entire family before she turned 20 she's been in a holding pattern. she wants to get a degree in landscape architecture and design, she wants to own her own landscaping company, she wants to be with ryan blake and she wants to jump off a cliff with him by the end of the summer. ryan's best friend was emma's brother. and he promised to look out for her. and how can he break a promise to his dead friend? even if it's what emma wants, even if it's what he wants, the fact remains that a promise is a promise. but when emma calls his bluff and threatens to see other people, ryan can't stand back any longer. and once he stops holding back, there's nothing to stop the love and the passion and the sweet friendship that emma and ryan share from blooming into a full-blown relationship. but emma is leaving at the end of the summer. she's got dreams to chase and ryan doesn't want to be the one to stop her. and he doesn't want to hold her back. and he promised her brother he'd stay away. so realistically speaking, once ryan gets over his hang-ups he and emma should be okay. he does pull the idiotic romance male lead thing and tries to make all of emma's decision for her in her best interests. which goes as well as you'd expect it to. but once he and emma manage to start communicating again, they find that the kind of relationship magic they share is a rare gift. one worth holding on to. this is another solid entry in the risking it all series. we also get to see a little bit more of jess and mark who will feature in can't forget you the final book in the series. and what we've seen hints at a very emotional finale to the series. i can't wait! **crazy for you will publish on march 28, 2017. i received an advance reader copy courtesy of netgalley/grand central publishing (forever) in exchange for my honest review.

Crazy for You is a fun, sweet read--Emma and Ryan are easy characters to root for, and the best friend's little sister troupe is one of my weaknesses. (Really, Mom and Dad, what were you thinking, not giving me an older brother? Very short sighted of you.) The secondary characters are great here too--Ethan and Gabby from book 1 ( Run to You ), Carly from the prequel novella ( Rock with You ), even poor Mark and Jess, who don't get their chance at a second chance until the next book ( Can't Forget You --but that's at least better than Mandy, who doesn't even have that...yet), plus Ryan's long lost baby brother, Trent--interesting characters, all. If it's your first trip to Haven, though, no worries--it'd work just fine as a standalone too. There really aren't a lot of surprises in this story, which is fine--Ryan hasn't really been a "bad boy" since he moved back to town, and it's clear from the start that he's going to have no problem seeing Emma as a grown up instead of the little sister hanger-on that she used to be, once he gives himself permission to look. The promise-to-her-big-brother part was going to be trickier, but then again it always is. The solution to Emma's future was honestly so easy to see from the beginning, I was surprised that it took so long for that part of it to be resolved, but it wasn't any less satisfying for being obvious. What makes the story stand out, though, is the writing. Ms Lacey manages to make rock climbing sound sexy when she writes scenes like this one: "Watching you climb that rock is the biggest f-ing turn-on." Really? She must have looked ridiculous, failing around as she scrambled for the top. "It would be really bad if you took me right here." She emphasized the word as fantasies of them having wild sex up here on top of the world exploded through her brain. He groaned. "Bad in all the wrong ways. Bad in the 'bruises and scrapes where the sun don't shine' and potentially fall to your death in the throes of passion kind of way." Well, when he put it that way... Yeah. So maybe not... Still. Fun to imagine in the abstract, while we wait for Mark's book :) Rating: 4 stars / B+ I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

When Emma's brother Derek passed away she lost the last relative she had. Derek made his best friend Ryan promise he would keep an eye on his sister, which means Emma is off-limits. Emma's schoolgirl crush on Ryan hasn't gone away after more than a decade, but he doesn't appear to be interested in her. Emma doesn't know that he's keeping his distance because of his promise to Derek. Ryan fancies her and wants nothing more than to get to know her better. They're friends, but he would love for them to give in to their attraction. Ryan is a player, he rides a motorcycle and he has several tattoos. Emma is a nice girl and only dates clean-cut guys. However, she thinks she's ready for a change. They might be different on the outside, but they have a lot in common. Spending more time together as friends wouldn't harm anyone and that is what Ryan decides to do. That way he can keep her near, but they won't be able to make a mistake. Will Emma be able to use this extra time to convince Ryan to take a chance on her? Crazy for You is an amazing romantic story about two people who have been through a lot. Emma and Ryan both lost their parents at an early age and Emma's brother passed away as well. Ryan still has a brother, but he hasn't seen him since he was little. They know what it's like to grieve and to lose everything, but they're determined to make the best of their lives, which is something I greatly admired about their characters. Emma is a sweetheart and she deserves to be with a good guy. Ryan thinks he's too much of a bad boy for her, but he's actually really kind and attentive. Ryan has never had a relationship and is determined to remain friends with Emma and nothing more, but there's so much chemistry between them that he can't stay away. I couldn't wait to find out where that would lead and read their story in one sitting. Emma and Ryan have a deep and meaningful history and there are plenty of sparks, so they'd be an ideal couple. I loved reading about both of them, they're wonderful together and it was fascinating to see them take baby steps in the right direction. Rachel Lacey writes about a lovely small town called Haven. It's a place I immediately enjoyed reading about and her detailed and warm descriptions make it come to life very well. Crazy for You is a book about both love and friendship. Emma used to be lonely, but there are plenty of people who care about her now and that put a smile on my face. Her group of friends is close and I loved reading about every single one of them. I'm a big fan of reading stories about friends who are falling in love and Crazy for You is a great one. It's multilayered, vibrant and endearing.

Ryan is shocked to learn that straight-laced Emma wants to take a walk on the wild side with him. He would love to help Emma discover her naughty side, if only he didn't feel guilty about a promise that he made to her brother years ago. Ryan soon learns that Emma is determined to make it difficult for him to deny her the experience of motorcycle rides, outdoor adventures and naughty fun. I really liked Crazy for You and the small town of Haven, North Carolina. I look forward to the next in this series! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Favorite Quotes: Look, last night started as a dare, but it turned out to be really fun – other than that one part we’ll never speak of again. Emma was staring at him like he was a lollipop and she needed a sugar fix. You really have no business being so sexy… It’s just not fair to the female species. You’ve always felt like a part of my family, in a totally non-incestuous kind of way. My Review: Emma had recently been dumped for being unexciting, and by the most boring man she had ever dated, epic fail. Determined to shed her “goody-two-shoes” image, she takes a dare from her friends to put herself out there and consider a fling with a “bad boy.” Ryan looked like a bad boy but wasn’t. He had the tats, motorcycle, and the troubled kid in foster care reputation, but he was now a thirty-year-old adult and a business owner, and he worked hard and took his responsibilities seriously. Ten years ago, Ryan had promised Emma’s now deceased brother that he wouldn’t touch her, not knowing that Emma had been infatuated with him since she was a pre-teen. Ryan did women, lots of women, but he didn’t date or do relationships. Yet somehow he didn’t like the idea of Emma looking at internet dating profiles. They had been friends for many years; he hoped they could be friends with benefits. I enjoyed the first book in this series and adored this story from start to finish. I adored this couple as well as this entire group of vibrant and quirky characters. I like the comfort and ease of their camaraderie and the supportiveness of their relationships. Ms. Lacey’s writing was thoughtful, insightful, amusing, and deliciously steamy. Red poppies have just become my favorite flower. I am already anxiously awaiting the next installment which promises to be Mark’s story, as I have been intrigued by his character from the beginning – Ms. Lacey’s clever and wily writing has taunted me throughout the past two books by providing only the barest of snippets as to his background.

To say that Emma Rush's dating life is boring is a complete understatement, she has been on plenty of dates, but she keeps ending up with duds... not a single one of them has ignited a single spark. She longs to find someone who pushes her to her limits, helps to bring her out of her shell, and inspire the bad girl in her that has been lurking just below the surface to finally make an appearance. What she really needs is a bad boy, and there is one in particular that she wants, but finding a way to lure him might be a challenge... good thing she is up for it! Ryan Blake made a promise to his best friend to always look-out for his little sister Emma, and so for the last ten years he's done just that, but somewhere along the way he started to fall for her too. He's knows making a move on her would be wrong on so many levels, and breaking a promise to his best friend is at the top of the list. But when she turns the tables on him and makes a move he doesn't know quite what to do, he knows it's wrong, but being wrong has never felt so right... One of my favorite tropes is forbidden love, and I have to say Ms. Lacey did an amazing job tackling the subject, her heartwarming and sexy read checked all the must have boxes for me. It had a little feisty infused humor, a few noteworthy steamy sex scenes, lots of emotion that is certain to tug on your heartstrings, and of course the forbidden dance that had me dangling on the edge of my seat wondering will they or won't they! I loved meeting these two, their story kept me completely enthralled from start to finish, and I must say their journey is one that shouldn't be missed! I highly recommend you take a chance on this read, Ms. Lacey's endearing characters are sure to take you on a truly exceptional literary ride! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

I have so much love for this book. It’s fun, swoony, and exactly what I needed to read right now. I loved Emma and Ryan. Emma tries shaking things up in her life in the most fabulous way. I’m always a fan of people getting ink, and I loved seeing someone’s first time experience, if only to relive those moments for myself again. I don’t think she’s a boring as she thought she was. She tries new things, and some of those experiences help her in so many ways. Ryan is a former bad boy. While he gives off the whole bad boy persona, he’s a pretty awesome guy. He uses caution when he should, and that’s something I really admire in book boyfriends. There are funny moments, awkward situations, and a group of friends that are always there. They are tight-knit and I love that. It’s also kind of a friends to lovers story, and those always make my heart beat faster. Crazy for You is the perfect book to gear up for Summer, or even read by the pool.

3.5 stars I had really enjoyed the previous book in this series, so I was pretty excited to get to this one. I liked Emma and Ryan. They're both good people with a bit of a dark and dramatic background. It was fun to see them relax together and try new things. And of course their chemistry was fantastic. I am a huge fan of the bff's sibling plot line and this one didn't disappoint. There seemed to be a lot more people than I remembered and I did have a bit of a hard time keep track of who was who. Overall, the conflict was minimal and the epilogue was perfect. I can't wait to read the next book. **Huge thanks to Grand Central Publishing and NetGalley for providing the arc free of charge**

5 - "No one but you." Stars! The Risking It All series goes from strength to strength with the second full length novel; Crazy For You. Not only do we get one of my favorite tropes – Older brothers best friend, but we also get to go back to the town and residents of Haven, Georgia. Emma Rush has had a crush on Ryan Blake for a looooong time, being her brothers best friend growing up she saw and spent more than enough time with him to know that he was a guy with more going on than the bad-boy façade he let most people see. Her little crush on Ryan Blake had just exploded into something a whole lot more… and she had no idea what would happen next… But up until now, things had never stepped out of the friend-zone, with the loss of her brother, her decision to live on the wild side and to move away to study, the pair find themselves at an unexpected crossroads… Act on the attraction that has been simmering between them for a while, or stick to purely friendship. "You drive me absolutely crazy, you know that?" Ryan is reluctant initially, but it doesn’t take long for Emma to start pushing all the right buttons to bring the alpha protectiveness out in Ryan, and the sexy times take off at a rapid clip thereafter. She’s leaving, he doesn’t do commitment, so a friends-with-benefits arrangement is agreed upon. "Just how bad do you want to be?" I discovered Rachel’s writing through the prequel novella in this series and I haven’t looked back since, I love whole small town feel that she has got going on in that the characters are now established well enough you feel like you are catching up with old friends with each new story. The whole Off-the-Grid adventures aspect keeps things fresh, and all the secondary characters keep everything really well filled out when it comes to the plots. "Sometimes dreams change… Sometimes once you start chasing them, you realize those dreams represented who you were ten years ago… not who you are today." Nothing massively new about the story between Ryan and Emma, but it’s so well written you just fall in love with them as they are unwittingly falling in love with each other, it was one of those books you read and feel every emotion the H/h are experiencing, and go through with them. "Nothing feels right when we’re not together." Jess and Mark are up next, and I am more than a little excited for the release of Can’t Forget You in October. This is a couple that have a huge amount of history between them, but the author has been very careful in what she has revealed about it in that we still don’t 100% know what actually happened, so I am eager to get their full story. *This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy of the book.
