Since 1980, author Linda Gannon owned and operated The Magick Garden, a mail order business in McFarland, Wisconsin, where she lives with her husband, Tom, and her children, Brittany, Kristin, Molly, and Austin. She conducts workshops and lectures on making potpourris and other herb-related topics.

Dagmar Fehlau is an award-winning illustrator whose work has appeared in Bodycare Just for Men, Making Bentwood Trellises, Arbors, Gates and Fences and Making Herbal Dream Pillows. Dagmar attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.
