Loved the whole series!
This series is action packed with well developed characters and many twists and turns. Waleron and delaras love story was one i was anxious to get to as their chemistry in prior books was off the charts and heart wrenching all at the same time. This book did not disappoint, one moment i wanted to scream at him and the next moment i understood why he was making the choices he was, however bad they ended up being for both him and delara. In the end their love wins out but the long road back for both of them leads to a must read, fantastic book. Best series ive read in a long time.
I love this series! I enjoyed Waleron and Delara's story! As the previous review said you do need to read the the whole series.
As I read the first two Scars of the Wraiths books, I was intrigued by Dalera and Welaron's characters. The way that they interacted was so full of passion and hurt that I knew there had to be a deep story there. There was, and nobody can tell a twisted, deep, painful, passionate, beautiful story from multiple POVs like Nashoda Rose. I wanted to shake both of the main characters so many times, as they tried to protect each other from hurt by acting cold or indifferent. Sometimes, you form a bond with someone that transcends everything- pain, fear, time, and circumstances. This is the love of Welaron (Tac) and Dalera (Maitagarri). "We existed without one another, but we'd never lived." As an avid reader, I can usually tell where a storyline is going. It's all been done- right? Well, Nashoda's stories always keep me guessing, and I loved the ride. I cannot wait to read book #4. This is *not* a standalone book. You really need to read the previous 3 books in order to fully understand and enjoy this. Hell, Nashoda even says this in a cover page. If you enjoy paranormal romance with dark, sexy storylines and detailed, flawed characters, then you will love this series as much as I do. "Our love was fire. Destructive and consuming." This book was the same. Five burning stars.
