This is a must have book for old and new readers of Creepy. If you've watched and liked Tales From The Crypt you'll like Creepy. It's funny, scarey, unpredictable, and unforgetable!! I use to read these black and white magazines in the early sixties along with Eerie, Vampirella, and Mad. Some of the best writers and artists were working for Warren Publications and Archie Goodwin.

Thank you Dark Horse and looking forward to Creepy Vol 2!! Keep em coming!

Excellent collected set of the first 5 issues of James Warren's outstanding Creepy magazine from the middle 1960's. Having kept an original set of these magazines I can appreciate the re-telling of these dark tales on another generation of rabid readers. Not to be read alone at night.......Keep others around and a few lights on................

Horror comics in hardback! Gotta love it. Felt as if I was a kid again reading these stories. The artwork throughout is mostly very good with only the occasional of the mark drawing. The stories are typical, but fun (at least the majority), with many twists and turns in the endings. The nice part is that they are complete reprints including the letter pages so you can get the feel how people back in the day liked the magazine. This collection definitely allows a whole new generation of people to get a taste of the horror comic and I am sure will create a few new converts! Hmmm perhaps a horror comic comeback? Hmm might be pushing it!!
