About the Author

Jon Frauley is Assistant Professor of Criminology at the University of Ottawa, Canada, where he teaches criminological and social theory as well as methodology. He holds a MA in Legal Studies and completed his PhD in Sociology at Queen’s University at Kingston, Canada. He is primarily interested in social theory, cultural criminology, epistemology, and theoretical and policy issues pertaining to governance and regulation. He has published in a number of anthologies and journals including the British Journal of Criminology, Critical Criminology, and Current Issues in Criminal Justice.
