Easy read of an ordinary man with a passion for service. The author is not a glib writer just an American who could be your next door neighbor telling you about his life career of armed service in the military, uniformed guard service outside & inside the White House, and on to Federal Air Marshall. If you have researched the Clinton's the revelations are not new or even the tip of the iceberg but these chapters are like having a beer & conversation with an honest man. Best thing I can say about it is that you feel good having people like the author who live to protect others.

I was disappointed reading this book. It lacked substance and contained only a few inside details about Hillary. Most of those details we already knew. The author spent most of the book on president Bill Clinton and his affair with Monica. He also spent a great deal on air marshals, worthy individus who help protect Americans and our way of life, but clearly off title. I enjoy books about "the behind the scenes of politics," but this book clearly didn't do it for me.

WOW! I, well, sorry. I can't quite put this into words. What an eye opener! Brilliant and it took guts to do this.

Just continues to remind me as to how corrupt Bill and Hillary really are. After eight years of Obama this will finish off the country.

Well written. The Clintons are scum and this book documents that fact well.

I thought the book was very enjoyable! He told alot about what happens in the White House and what the agents go through. Also how the agents are treated by the Clintons and how they feel regarding the people who protect them. Yes, I have heard some things before but this had even more info.

Great read and wonderful first-person account of the Clinton White House. Really gives you pause when you read the truth about Hillary Clinton. Highly recommend this book.

This book was more about the author than the Clintons. Very little about Hilary and everything on Bill is old news that everyone has already heard.

The book is promoted as an explanation on why Hillary would be a terrible President. In reality she is a very minor character in this book. She yelled at this Secret Service person a few times and swore at Bill, probably broke a vase and was difficult to work for, that's it. There's a great deal about Bill chasing women, about some uncouth people that worked in the White House 35 years ago. Later there's incredible detail about the air Marshall service and then a reminder that Hillary married someone that cheated all the time.

Title has very little to do with the content. Very disappointed with the book. Wish I could get my money back.

Great read! Love the ANONYMOUS ONE STAR reviews that probably were submitted by Hillary fans. See how the trust issue works?

A very well rounded education on the Clintons, Obama and others who made Saul Alinsky their god. A man who dedicated his landmark book "Rules For Radical" to the devil; the father of lies.

A first person look at the Clinton white house .

Gary Byrne describes his personal experiences inside the White House with the Clintons. The chaos and destruction that follows in the former (and future?) First Couple's wake at every turn is breathtaking, yet is of no surprise to those of us who have read the articles over the years. For Clinton supporters, PLEASE ask yourself the honest question: with all the scandals they continue to squeak out of, at what point do we finally say we've had enough?!

Clearly Mr Byrne has an axe to grind but, I fail to see the need for the personal information after leaving the White house, I got the book for his views on Hillary but, think a lot of the non Clinton parts are interesting but, not relevant.

It is the story of one man and his job to "Protect and Defend " this....his....our country.

Gary, you had the guts and moral fiber to expose the venomous, vengeful tyrant Hillary truly is – and underscore the power-at-all-costs, “we’re above the law” arrogance that the “Billary” duo represent. Bravo! I was on the Hill working for a member of the Arkansas congressional delegation when Bill was boy governor. His sexual escapades and Hillary's tirades were legend then. Unfortunately, the liberal media suppressed those stories. Now, most reporters and the Clinton Machine are trying to suppress the truth here (gee, those one-star ratings among the 5-stars here are more than revealing!) Millenials who were too young to remember the scandals and shame the Clintons brought on this country and us "little people" -- hardworking Americans who are proud to serve their country with honor and dignity -- would do well to read this book - BEFORE the 2016 election. There ARE new details revealed here, unlike what some other reviewers have stated. Not surprisingly, the same cast peddling Hillary as the “next great thing” are the same bunch who NEED to have us all forget Billary’s sordid past and the myriad of scandals they’ve both created -- the Paula Jones and Gennifer Flowers affairs, the Whitewater scandal, Vince Foster’s suicide, Benghazi, illegal millions pouring into the Clinton Foundation and now Hillary’s email practices compromising national security. Let’s hope to God this madness ends in November, for the sake of our country’s – and the world’s – future. Your book is a somber reminder of all we have to lose if the Clintons get back in the White House. OMG.
