I highly recommend this fantastic book. This is an exceptional and authoritative book on the subject of virtualization. Its unique approach, i.e. what not to do, concise and conversational manner make for a quick yet informative read. The author has exposed some shortcomings in my own virtualization practices. It has proven to be an essential resource in the virtualization toolbox of my business.

This is an eye opening resource to anyone who is thinking about or has implemented VMware. I wish I would have read this book before implementing VMware at my company. However, this book has helped me right some wrongs and increase efficiency because of poor design. Besides a few grammatical errors the book is packed with useful facts. It¿s obvious the author has ¿been there and done that¿ with a ton of helpful tips for both the planning and production phase. I definitely recommend this book, it will not only save you time, it will save you headaches.

One of the easiest and informative books I've read. The author takes an approach in this book that I've never seen before. Instead of a boring installation guide where cord A plugs into Outlet B, he in turn gives a real world experience of organization errors he has delt with and how to avoid them. I can personally say if my organization would've had this book we could have saved countless hours of work and cut cost. A must read for anyone planning on implementation of VMware.

Anyone who's ever been interested in VMware and has searched for resources on the subject has at some point come across one of the best VMware resources you can find, for me this book would be the resource/tool I have been looking for. Facing the challenges of designing Virtual environments for the Government this book has helped me step back and take a look at some of the common "vitalization mistakes" I have made over the last few years. Not only do I recommend this book I also purchased a copy for my companies Technical Library. Great find fantastic real world solutions! Thanx to the author! v/r Jann Calhoun Sr Systems/Network Architect
