This was such a ride to read!!! Geneva has really outdone herself on this one. There are so many ups and downs in the book it would make your head spin but in a great way. I love this book so much. It is really worth the read and then some.

Don’t Cross these Royals! 4 stars I have read the Royals saga, but this can be read as a stand-alone book. So jump in! But I was elated to be back in this world, because this book captivated me from the beginning. Alexander is still as Alpha as ever which I love, but he is keeping secrets. Clara is as feisty as ever, and I still adore her for it. But she also decided to keep a secret from Alexander. Their chemistry is still as sizzling as ever! The unraveling of secrets, outside forces, and both Alexander and Clara fighting for their marriage make for an engaging read, and I can’t wait to read the next book in this 3 book series! I received a copy of this ebook for my honest review.

Cross Me by Geneva Lee is the first book in her new Royal World series. This is another look into the world of King Alexander and Queen Clara, their life in the palace, and the bedroom, their family and all the issues involved, and their friends. If finding each other and fighting for their love was hard, keeping it working and in one piece is even harder. Secrets still threaten to break X and Clara and all the while, danger lurks in the shadows leaving it's threatening presence looming in their lives. Well-written and well-paced, this book was hot as hell, sinfully crafted, intriguing and utterly captivating, the Royals of Geneva Lee's world are some of my favorite! Told in dual POV between X and Clara this book twists and turns and makes your heart bleed. With a cliffhanger ending you absolutely must go and read this then read book two - Claim Me - all before book three (Consume Me) comes out in just a couple of short weeks on June 24, 2019. I absolutely loved this! Enjoy!

I fell in love with Clara and X from the moment I read Command Me. Their story swept me away and made them one of my favorite couples of all times. So it was a bitter-sweet moment when they finally found their HEA in Complete Me. And that's also the reason why few months ago my day significantly improved when I found out that Geneva Lee is writing another Clara and X trilogy. One of the things I was most excited about this new series is that it shows the life of Clara and X after their HEA. As we all know, finding your other half and overcoming all the obstacles between the two of you, doesn't mean that your life is all hearts and flowers. And that's exactly what you are going to find in Cross Me: a newly married couple, who is trying to navigate their way through this new stage in their lives. And though, their love for each other is obvious, that doesn't mean that they don't make mistakes. And them being THE Royal couple, doesn't make things any easier. So be ready for this emotional roller coaster and all the drama that it brings. Add to that the danger and suspense lurking around the corner and the white hot chemistry between Clara and X and you have a page turner :D And even if you are not a huge fan of drama and suspense, I can guarantee that X with his dominant and sexy ways is well worth your attention ;) If you are new to Geneva Lee or new to X and Clara's story, you can start with this book and you won't be lost. But in my opinion, in order to enjoy the story completely, you should read the series from the start. As for me, I am jumping into Claim Me asap because I just need to find out what happens next (that cliffie is eating me alive :D). I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This series starts after another one that explains how Alexander and Cara get together. Should you read the first series, probably it will give you more insight in to the world. Do you have to, no you do not and I did not feel lost while reading it at all! Alexander is the freaking King of England and you find out that Cara is the American that stole his heart and they were married. Even while the public and parliament likes to judge every single action that the royal couple make, they are still trying their best to navigate through the world. Alexander has a freaky side and the passion that he has for his feisty wife is intoxicating. There are SO FREAKING MANY secrets though! Seriously, I want to slap X a couple of times because he feels like he is protecting Clara, but he is really just digging himself in to so many holes. This was a great read though and even though it ends with a cliffhanger, it was an enjoyable read and I am looking forward to the rest of the series! PS: I received this book for free, but am voluntarily and honestly reviewing it!

A PASSIONATE DELIGHT!!! Tipping the scales! This is one intriguing spin that leaves you breathless, craving more. Struggling through contention and hostilities, striving for peace and safety that seem untouchable. Combating all the trials and tribulations along with a horde of twists and turns bring this baby together impeccably. A barrage of unforseen circumstances and vexing surprises push those conflicting emotions to life smoothly. The characters are authentic and tangible with on point personalities that makes it easy to relate. The scenes are descriptive and graphic that flood each scenario with a colorful backdrop as the play out seamlessly. Fantastic job Geneva, thanks for sharing.

"The Royal family has come under increasing scrutiny the last two years due to the controversial actions of Alexander, who recently succeeded his father to the throne. Alexander’s decision to marry a half-American was the subject of contentious public debate. The crown seemed intent on making an even bigger statement with Alexander’s recent approval of Prince Edward’s marriage to Scottish man David McClane. Vocal minorities and religious organizations throughout the world have attacked the king’s support for the union. The Catholic Church issued a statement condemning the act and it’s been the source of much media speculation in America. Other activist groups, however, applauded the Crown’s progressive stance, stating that Alexander and his family are breathing fresh life into stale Royal traditions. Will public opinion swing in favor of the king’s choices, or is Alexander threatening the stability of the Crown? Only time will tell, but—" Since this is the first book of Geneva Lee I've read, I'm not familiar with the back story that comes from the "Royals Saga" but in no way did that hinder my comprehension or ability to follow this truly amazing story about a royal family and their lives. Secrets abound that will take you through twists and turns along with the rollercoaster of emotions they will pull you into. Be warned, there is a huge cliffhanger at the end but since "Claim Me" is already available, do yourself a favor and don't miss this.

It's not often I get to read a series where the couple is already married. I find that I actually really like that because we get a full book seeing them working together against the world. Their love is already proclaimed. They are no parts where one of them are wondering if their love is one sided. Now, I'll admit they didn't work well together all the time. Cross Me was a good look at a new marriage that is still navigating the ups and downs as they learn to work as a couple instead of solo. You really see them make these mistakes, like keeping things from each other, and then learning from those mistakes. Add in the pressure of being newly crowned made this harder for them than any other couple. I have to quote a part from the book. It really relays how much these two mean to each other but also shows their love has not been an easy path. "He was what mattered. Every danger we faced, whatever issues we had, we'd battle them together. I had promised him that. I hadn't chosen the life or him blindly. It wasn't going to be easy. But easy love was for the weak. Easy love gave up. Easy love didn't last. Us? We were forever. It didn't matter if it was harder. I saw past his rough edges to the man he was in his soul. It was a fierce love-a hard love-that had brought us together. That love was worth fighting for." Despite all the mine fields they navigated, I never worried about them as a couple. Another quote that showed how much these two were invested. "Love stories never really end. There are no happily ever afters. Love is fighting and compromising and choosing one person over and over again. No matter what." Both qoutes were a powerful statement to their love. To their marriage. I loved seeing this kind of dedication despite all the trials they are put through. I don't normally speak about the sex in books but these two were volatile when they got together. Alexander couldn't keep his hands off of her. That man devoured her any chance he got, and let me tell you that was hot! A part of me is kicking myself for not reading Command Me, the beginning of the first series that shows how Alexandra and Cara began. Another part of me likes that I don't know what all they went through before the marriage. That doesn't mean I won't read their beginning, because I will. This just solidified how much more I will want to read everything about them I can. This does end on a cliffhanger. Another rough spot they need to get through together and it was pretty vague. I'm going to immediately start book 2 cause I just need to see where else these two are taking us.

Will Alexander learn to keep Clara close without overstepping his bounds I had started this series back in 2017 so was happy to see another book in the series. Clara and Alexander’s married life continues to have ups and downs but will Alexander’s secrets be their downfall? You have to read to find out and oh what an ending!

Get ready for a royal ride with all the drama of Alex and Clara. You get all of your typical parliament politics not to mention the secrets and plots to overthrow. When this series ended a couple years ago I thought we weren't going to see the Royal family again. So when I heard Geneva Lee was bringing back the Royal family and all the other characters and new ones. I was so excited! I didn't realize how much I missed these characters and this world until I started reading again and immersed myself back into their lives. This book was so good. It had me on the edge of my seat. It was filled with angst, secrets, passion and so much love. X is back full force and he is not going to let anything stand in the way of his LOVE for his family. Not even the Crown and his responsibility to the people. But will it ruin him and his family? This is a MUST READ!!!! I promise you won't be disappointed.
