Celebrate the 10th anniversary of the New York Times best-selling Gallagher Girls series with this new edition, f eaturing an exclusive epilogue from Ally Carter ! After staking out, obtaining, and then being forced to give up her first boyfriend, Josh, all Cammie Morgan wants is a peaceful semester. But that's easier said than done when you're a CIA legacy and go to the premier school in the world . . . for spies. Cammie may have a genius I.Q., but there are still a lot of things she doesn't know. Like, will her ex-boyfriend even remember she exists? And how much trouble is she really in after what happened last semester? And most of all, why is her mother acting so strangely? Despite Cammie's best intentions to be a normal student, danger seems to follow her. She and her friends learn that their school is going to play host to some mysterious guests—code name: Blackthorne. Then she's blamed for a security breach that leaves the school's top secret status at risk. Soon, Cammie and her friends are crawling through walls and surveilling the school to learn the truth about Blackthorne and clear Cammie's name. Even though they have confidence in their spy skills, this time the targets are tougher (and hotter), and the stakes for Cammie's heart—and her beloved school—are higher than ever.

I am a huge fan of "young spy" novels, (Alex Rider especially), and romance (like Twilight). Ally Carter ties the two together perfectly in this absorbing sequel. All the characters are back, as well as some new ones too. Zachary Goode is by far one of the best characters in the series and the chemistry between him and Cammie is amazing. I highly recommend this book, even if you havent read the first one. I was only able to read this book first before I read "I'd Tell you I love you...", and even as I read it over, it still manages to make me smile. An excellent book.

This is my favorite book from all the gallagher girl series. The romance between Zach and Cammie was well written. The way she didn't know how to solve guy problems and asking for Macey's help was interesting. The way that Zach keeps running to Cammie. There is nothing bad that I can say about this book. I reread it a lot of times and I'm pretty sure everyone else will. You'll love it.

I love the Gallagher Girls Series books! This is my favorite out of the four books, but I recomend reading the first book so you would get an idea of what everyone is talking about. I absolutely LOVED it!!!

Ally Carter incorporates a sophisticated wit that is a rare find in books of any age level. She spoofs mission impossible type situations using teenage girls who are learning to be superspies, but also new to dating and the opposite sex. In this book, Carter captures the essence of young teenage females who are new to dating. She has taken the clumsy, uncomfortable moments that teenagers experience when they initially feel attracted to a boy or when they begin to date and turned those experiences into a humorous situational comedy.

Okay so heres the thing. You ever had those books you got so mad at cuz you could nevee live that life, never meet that guy? Thats what im feelin about this book, all the way. Im so jealous of the Gallagher Girls. They are cool, and they are sisters. Im so tired of the real world, where you find a couple friends, but you also get some backstabbers, trashtalkers, and haters. Plus, im way jealous about Zach. I mean come on, eho doesnt want a secret spy boyfriend? I do! The only thing is, I like my guys confident, and I like my guys mysterious, but I do not like them cocky. Zach was all self confidence when it came down to it. He made me so mad! But thats how you know the book was good, when they can make the reader FEEL just by reading the words on a page. Ally Carter, you are simply amazing

Have you ever spied on someone? In Ally Carter¿s book Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy, the author tells the story of Cammie Morgan a 16 year old, sophomore spy. Told from Cammie¿s point of view, Cammie realizes that her mother 'the headmistress of Gallagher Academy for Young Women- young spy women' is hiding something from her. But is she prepared to learn that the secret is another spy school for boys and that those boys are coming to her school? This book is perfect for teenage girls who love to spy. The events of the story make sense but are not too easy to follow 'especially if you¿re not a spy!' The content gets somewhat confusing when the author tells about the missions the characters go on. Other than those few times, the story is quite easy to follow. This book is great for middle aged teen girls because the content is something middle aged teens are more likely to understand. The story contains Cammie getting over her previous break-up from the first book, as this is the sequel of the series. Any girl that enjoys spying, adventure and romance with enjoy this book immensely. The romance and adventure will probably appeal to those who do not have aspirations to be a spy. Although you may want to read the first book first if you want to understand what the characters are talking about!

As soon as I picked up LYKY I couldn't put it down, and when I did put it down (because I'd finished) I couldn't wait to read the next one. This book is totally AWESOME! There aren't many books about just female spies. Sure, there are books with spy teams that had girls on them, and I love those books too, but it was really nice to finally read about a spy who was a girl. Ally Carter rocks!!! Read her blog, it's just as funny as the books and it has a lot of tips on writing. The only thing I didn't like about the series was how all the girls went crazy just because some boys came to their school. Not exactly showing the characters in their best light. But then, their best light isn't always as funny. :) Well, this review is getting kind of long so I better wrap it up. I loved this book and LYKY. Here are some instructions on what you should do now. 1) Buy the book. 2) Read the book. 3) Love the book. Just do steps 1 and 2 and step 3 will take care of itself. Almost forgot step 4) wait impatiantly for GG3.

I love this entire series. This book is the start to when everything starts to get more serious. The romance between Zach and Cammie is brilliant. I love books with romance but not romance the whole time so this is perfect. It has adventure, romance, and action.

Really 3.5 stars The first Gallagher Girls book surprised me - in a good way. Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy brought me back to the world of intrigue, covert operations, and the group of girls that would be great friends. Cammie and her friends are back for another semester at Gallagher Academy, and true to form there is never a dull moment at school. Cammie, Bex, Liz, and Macey quickly stumble across a secret Cammie's mom and Mr. Solomon are hiding. In true spy fashion, a little detective work reveals that Gallagher Academy will be playing host to several students from another school - an all-boys school. And one of these students seems to have an interest in Cammie. After her previous experience with boys, Cammie is determined to keep her distance, but at a boarding school that is easier said than done. As if the addition of boys isn't enough for Cammie and her friends to deal with, there seems to be a much more sinister plot that could undermine the foundation of the Gallagher Academy. Can Cammie and her friends save the day? It was so much fun to be back in the world of spies with Cammie and her friends. While the first Gallagher Girls book focused on life outside the school (or Cammie's attempt at having one), this book was dedicated to life inside the school. The classes were more intense and the schemes were more daring when there were being carried out under the noses of trained spies. It is no surprise that there are secrets, like Blackthorne, and the addition of the boys made this book even more fun than the last. No review would be complete without mentioning one boy in particular - Zach. It was hard to get a read on him sometimes, but after all, he is a spy. His interactions with Cammie were by turns sweet and maddening, but I definitely hope that we see more of him in the future. I don't want to say much more than this and give anything away because...well...where's the fun in that? Being a spy is all about secrets... All of the things that I admired in the first book, like the realness of the world and the way the girls came to life, held just as true in this book. Once again I loved the classes and all of the high-tech gadgetry, and even Mr. Solomon is starting to grow on me. Once again this proved to be a quick, fun read and the perfect escape for a summer day. The beauty of starting a series so late is that I don't have long waits in between every book. I am looking forward to reading Don't Judge a Girl By Her Cover!
