Overview

For generations mankind explored and colonized the galaxy, yet failed to discover intelligent alien life.

Except for the Artifact.

No one grasped what the Artifact represented. Could the alien construct be a building, an intergalactic marker, or something else?

For years it sat silent and impenetrable on the planet Vermadas before it inexplicably killed hundreds of people. Damascus Quinn, a special forces officer who survived, retreated to an unexplored world to avoid the endless speculation surrounding the disaster.

Seven years later, Quinn is called back to active duty. The Artifact is awake and communicating with hostile alien ships on the edge of human space. Quinn must prevent the aliens from obtaining the Artifact while defending humanity.

How can one man of faith stop an alien invasion?
