What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

"Real people. Struggles. Wrestling with God. Mixed with medical emergencies, a plane crash, a search and rescue team with a solo artist who'd rather not be a team player and you have the makings of an 'edge of your seat' read that is very difficult to put down. Combine that with the unconditional love and gentle wisdom exemplified by Padriac's grandparents and you have a story that will leave the reader wanting more of this intriguing new series.!" Marijo Phelps, author of the "Whispers from the Heart of God" series.

This book just draws you in. You grow to care for the characters, to feel their emotions whether it be joy, passion, inner turmoil, reflection, panic, anger, and everything else in between. The setting lends complexity to the storyline and I like the cultural aspect. Once you get going, it's hard to tear yourself away. You keep saying, "OK, I'll just read one more chapter." (then five chapters later....) Cannot wait for the next book in the series.

Fantastic! This is a stand out book both for its characters and its honesty.  It is rare to find a novel that actually espouses morals and integrity.  The characters struggles with issues of morality and faith in real and honest ways.  They don't always make the right choices, but to be witness to the internal struggle is refreshing.  Can't wait to see what happens next!

This is an "edge of the seat" novel that engages the reader from the first page. The characters are very real with impressive struggles that are handled with a good depth to draw you in to the action. I can't wait for the rest of this series!

This book is full of real-life characters. They are flawed. They love, they hate. I appreciate the emotions it stirs and the thoughts it provokes. This writer knows how to create characters that feel like friends (or enemies). I can't wait to follow them through book two! What an exciting read!
